  1. Guys, guys, guys. I designed those last night and posted them on this very board. The original poster doesn't "know a guy who works for the bills". twitter.com/eric_epp is my account. These were my interpretation of what I want them to do with the new unis. This thread made me lol though.
  2. Glorious news was released today when it was announced that my beloved Buffalo Bills would be changing their uniforms for the 2011 season (if it is, in fact, played). In 2002, under the direction of clueless general manager Tom Donahoe, the Bills' uniforms became among the NFL's worst of all-time. Here is my attempt to fix them, using the description released by the Bills today as "incorporating the team’s storied history while keeping the team’s signature charging buffalo logo". Click here to see the Uniforms. What I did: •Unified the Striping Pattern: With today's shrinking NFL sleeves, the 4-stripe pattern used on the Bills AFL throbacks simply look goofy on most cuts of jersey. So I went with a new striping system using a single red stripe outlined by another stripe 2x the thickness (white on blue background, blue on white background). This applies to the stripes on the helmet, sleeves, pants and socks. • Helmet from '76-83: Only change being a thinner red stripe. • OJ-Era Blue Road Pants: Complete with red belts and white laces • Champion-style Block Numerals & Thick, Rounded Name font: A la the Kelly-Era Bills • Added a small BILLS wordmark under the collar, and returned to white shoes. I think this blends the history of the team well, cleaning up some inconsistencies returning the Bills to a unique, timeless look in the league. Looking forward to hearing everyones thoughts. They might still play like crap for the next few years, but at least they won't look like it.
  3. I thought the exact same thing watching yesterdays game. Bulk him up and maybe he could be converted into one. I'd love to see him on the field more, in any way possible.
  4. I mostly agree. I do love that they got Roscoe more involved and are actually running the quick slant pretty often. I hate to stand up for anything Jauron, but I'm sure Trent made a lot of the playcalling look worse than it really was in the past few years with his constant checkdowns.
  5. I doubt it's a chance for Maybin as much as it's just making room for Merriman. Hate to see Roscoe go down. Jauron had no idea how to use him, and now he was just coming into his own as a slot-playmaker. Hopefully we see more of David Nelson, maybe split Spiller into the slot too.
  6. Hey guys. Long-time lurker, first time poster. Thought I would share my thoughts on the game yesterday: I scored free tickets to the game yesterday through a friend ($225 face value, corner endzone....like anyone in their right mind would pay that). The capacity crowd really surprised me considering the Bills are 0'fer, the Bears are a mess, and outside the Leafs, Toronto is known for its fairweather fans. I go to 1 or 2 games in Orchard Park per year, and this was much different, to say the least. In my estimation it was 50% People with no rooting interest at all - 35% Bears Fans - 15% Bills Fans. Truly a crowd you'd never see in Buffalo: - People didn't know when to cheer, when to be loud on 3rd down, - The guy in front of me was in a Burberry pea coat and spent most of the game on his Blackberry checking his Facebook. His woman-friend was wearing 4" stilettos. - Tons of kids under the age of 10 (The Ralph is no place for a kid) This experiment has truly been a disaster. I'm from St. Catharines (about halfway between Toronto and Buffalo), but I hope and pray Toronto never gets an NFL franchise (especially the Bills!). On the bright side, I also have tickets to this weeks game vs. the Lions. A real, true Bills game with tailgating, rowdy but knowledgeable fans, open-air stadium, and with a little luck, our first W.
