  1. Check my sig (or the trading post). CW
  2. Patriots fans are probably glad you're not their coach as well. In one of Brady's first games in 2001: 1st and 10 at NWE 9 Tom Brady (NWE) sacked for a loss of 7 yards. 0 3 2nd and 17 at NWE 2 1 yard penalty on Patriots. 2nd and 18 at NWE 1 Tom Brady (NWE) pass across the middle complete to David Patten (NWE) for 8 yards. 3rd and 10 at NWE 9 Tom Brady (NWE) pass right side complete to Troy Brown (NWE) for 17 yards. Three plays inside the 20 (one on the 1 yard line!) and three passes. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playbyplay?gameId=211014017 And you say it's stupid to pass from inside the 20? There's something stupid here, but it's not calling a pass play. In the infamous words of Bugs Bunny, "What a maroon." CW
  3. Why didn't Clements return any punts for touchdowns?!?!?!?! And what about McGee?! This season sucked.... CW
  4. Making a blanket statement like, "There's 20% of the field where we should never even ATTEMPT a pass!" is smart, and calling you out on it is stupid? Umm, ok. Let me reiterate - I'm glad that you're not an NFL coach. Actually, I take that back; you'd make a great Dolphins coach! CW
  5. I'd disagree on Moulds. From what everyone is saying about our backups, Spikes probably wouldn't be a showstopper either (although it'd hurt, and he is my favorite current player). CW
  6. I heard an update on the story last night. Apparantly the guy saying he received a text message from his cousin was arrested because he made the whole story up; his cousin wasn't even on the plane. Nice... CW

  8. It's supposed to be on again Wednesday (so says the TiVo guide). CW
  9. Oh man, those were one of the best things in England! Yum.... Anyplace that sells their fish wrapped in newspaper along with the fries? CW
  10. What?! So now we can't pass from our own 1 to our own 20?!?! I guess we know why you're not a head coach in the NFL... CW
  11. I havn't seen the game yet, but I did see a few plays on NFLN; the one thing I really didn't like was his "hop passing." It reminded me of what Flutie used to do. Scramble, then throw the ball while hopping. It hasn't bitten him yet this preseason, but it will when real defenses are out there... CW
  12. We contained him on that series though -- 0/1, 1 sack. Can't ask for anything better (except maybe an INT ) CW
  13. Until we win a regular season game against a real gameplan and real players, yes. Even so, the Indy game looked a lot like a majority of our games last year... We won because of defense and special teams, not offense. CW
  14. No offense, but we can get all that info from nfl.com... CW
  15. Superbowl champions?
  16. I didn't get that from the article at all. They think that the cabin depressurized. If it did that while 20,000' in the air, everyone would freeze to death. They also said that the oxygen masks were enabled and that most of the bodies had the masks on. CW
  17. Would you please warn me before you start the invasion? I live in western WI, and my in-laws live in eastern Wi... CW
  18. I read about this yesterday, but just heard about the frozen bodies today. That's a pretty terrible way to die... http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/08/15...rash/index.html CW
  19. EXACTLY!!!!! That's actually the basis of our entire legal system. All anyone here knows about MJ is what they've seen on the news. THAT'S IT. You didn't see the trial. You weren't sitting there every day listening to testimony. You may read a few snippits on a website, but that's it. "Beyond a reasonable doubt" does not mean, "Have to catch red handed." Even from the little bits and peices I read about on websites, there seemed to be a lot of contradiction in the family's testimony. Thus, reasonable doubt. CW
  20. Can't really drive from Buffalo to NYC as a day trip like you can with Toronto. Plus, did you notice the part about wanting to see Blue Man Group? CW

  22. Actually, I'm only paying $199 and could get Superfan for free (and probably will if I finish the basement in time). I wouldn't pay more for preseason games though. As nice as they are to see, and I like seeing them on NFLN, they're not worth paying for IMHO. CW
  23. Now I know my wife won't want to go there The Mall of America has some places with glass block floors, and she hates walking over those too. CW
  24. Install mIRC: http://www.mirc.com/ It's much better than Java. Set your Nickname to whatever you want. Set server irc.webmaster.com Set the port to 6667 When a popup asks what room to join, type #GoBills Done! It's really 100x better than the java client. And as stated, aside from a few people flooding and a couple of other people with objectionable language (the chat room should be PG-13, just like the forums), it was fun. It's even better during the regular season when everyone's watching the same game. I generally do the play by play and everyone else discusses. CW
  25. The CN tower might be cool. Don't reallly care about the Skydome -- I can watch games in a dome at the Metrodome (and let me tell you, it sucks compared to open air stadiums). CW
