I've been getting orders out pretty quickly now that I have stamps.... We'll see what happens for the first preseason game. Maybe nobody cares about a scrimmage, or maybe more people get NFL Network than get Sunday Ticket... CW

Only one person was interested in the scrimmage. Should I take that to mean that nobody wants the preseason games either? I won't spend time on them if nobody's really interested and will instead focus on the regular season (for myself) CW

Did you actually READ the thread?! I never said he should be banned, I said he should miss at LEAST another 20-40 games (personally I think he should miss the entire season and come back next year...). He didn't play Europe because, as someone else mentioned, they don't play his style of game there. And he missed out on the World Cup of Hockey? I think I said, "Big whooop" to that one already. Is it too much to ask you to read the whole thread before commenting? CW

What I don't get is why one guy gets a one-year suspension for using his stick as a club, but Bertuzzi doesn't get the same (or even a similar) punishment? Both were premeditated attacks from behind. Bert's was worse, IMHO, because he shoved the guy's head into the ice. And I'm not buying the "he suffered during the lockout" any more than Moore is buying it. Oh well. CW

I always said it included the playoffs: Plus, it's not like Bertuzzi doesn't have a rap sheet for other similar things in the past. If the Sabres signed/traded for him, I'd stop watching the Sabres, plain and simple. Would anyone here want the Bills to sign Ray Lewis? I'd probably stop watching the Bills if they did that as well (I can only say probably to the NFL though....) I thought we took pride in signing upstanding citizens on our sports teams? CW

Yeah, because the money Moore may or may not get is much more important than his health. I'm sure you'd gladly break your neck for a few hundred grand? I also still don't get your "intent vs consequence" line. If you punch someone in the head from behind, while on skates, then drive their head into the ice, you're obviously intending to do serious bodily harm to them. What the hell does an ACCIDENT have to do with deliberately attacking someone from behind?! Look, all I'm saying is that a 13 game + playoff suspension is NOTHING. If the NHL hadn't had a lockout last year, and Bertuzzi missed all of last season from a suspension, I'd be fine with that. Heck, even if they tacked on 20-40 game suspension at the start of this season, I'd be fine. But being penalyzed a handful of games at the end of the season? That's nothing. (and how can you count the lockout as "time served????" Oh boy, he couldn't play in the World Cup of Hockey, big whoop.) CW

I mentioned it to one of my coworkers and he said that, although my plan wouldn't work, it'd be interesting to see if whoever plays the Canucks in the playoffs desides to sign Moore just to stop Bertuzzi from playing. That's far more realistic. CW

Give me a break. Here's an interesting part: If I were the NHL owners, I'd sign Moore to a bunch of one day contracts, all for the team playing the Canucks. This would force the Canucks to not dress Bertuzzi for any games, but still force them to pay him (or cut him). It'll never happen, but it'd be nice. Oh well. CW
