or ? Or ? Maybe ? CW

Seems to be what this show is going for. So far, so good. CW

OJ doesn't count because it happened more than a decade after he played here. Henry wasn't found guilty either, because the girl was pretending to be of age. Stevens tested positive for steroids, lot of good it did him. The Dolphins win in a landslide. CW

Nope, it's not political at all. Apparantly the producers are making a point not to make it political. The best part of the show was (do not read below if you don't want to see it -- it doesn't give plot away, but it gives the funniest part of the show away): . . . . . SPOILER . . . . . One of the soldiers is doing a video email to send back home. I'll clean up the language, but he says, "Hi honey. Well, I'm finally in poopville." The video stops, and the woman doing the recording says, "I'm sorry soldier, you can't tell people where you are." He looks incredulous and says, "I didn't say where I was, I said I was in poopville. Have you seen any signs directing you to downtown poopville? No." The camera operator then says, "I'm sorry, but if you can't follow the rules you won't be allowed to continue." Hilarious (especially because I can see that being true, just like the story I posted a few days ago about soldiers not being allowed to bring lighters and nail files on a plane, but they're allowed to bring their assault rifles). . . . . . SPOILER . . . . . CW

Yup, DirecTV aired it early as part of a promotion. Didn't realize it at first, just saw the show in my "Now Playing" list, so watched it. However, it was very good (if not a bit disturbing...). Can't wait to hear what everyone else here thinks. CW

Yes, he just signed a contract the other day, but he thinks he deserves more! http://thebrushback.com/alexsmith_full.htm (yes, it's The Brushback; doesn't mean it isn't funny ). CW

That's old news... I remember hearing that at least a year or two ago. Maybe they finally prosecuted him or something? CW

No problem. You better post about it when you're done watching it though... DirecTV had a special sneak peek last night, so I guess most people here havn't seen it yet... CW

Anyone watch this show tonight? It was *VERY* well done... Rather somber. Definately NOT for the kids. Speaking of which, since when is swearing allowed on "regular" TV? There was quite a bit of vulgarity being thrown around and it surprised me when I first heard it. Are all FX shows like that? Or does this one get some sort of pass? Anyway, I highly recommend it to everyone, as long as you don't mind seeing some pretty intense graphics and subject matter. CW

Yes -- and they're usually only intra-squad. It's call "Family Fun Night." They have a fireworks display after the game which should be cool. Tickets were being sold on eBay for $40-$50/each after it sold out in three hours. We bought eight tickets (my family consists entirely of Packers fans, except for me... And maybe my wife will wear something Bills related, we'll see, but she grew up in GB as well), for only $8/each. I was seriously tempted to scalp 'em... But decided not to (stupid, huh? . They have raffles after the game for player jerseys and such as well. Can't wait to see the "game!" CW

No, they have exclusive rights to SUNDAY TICKET, which is not the same as the NFL Network. CW

Worked fine for me. Stop raining on the parade monkeyboy. CW

I'm on the oppsite side of the field as Aussie; I'll be engulfed in a sea of Green and Gold as well... But listen closely, and you'll hear me cheer CW

What's the website link for this again? It was posted before the last launch... Answered my own question: http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html CW

Exactly. People always overlook that fact though. CW

That's definately true; however, I don't like paying other people to do it either (I'm cheap, right SDS? ). I generally just hire it out though because I don't have the time myself (60-70 hour workweeks suck), and when I'm home I don't want to work, I want to relax. CW

How's the heat in your neck of the woods?
Fezmid replied to stuckincincy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope -- it has adware (which isn't the same thing, although is often lumped together). If you don't pay the $20/year, the main display has a bunch of ads on it, and it occasionally pops up an ad while you're using it. If you pay for it, the ads all go away. Spyware is stuff that steals keystrokes, logs where you're going on the net and sends it off to a centralized server, that sort of thing, and Weatherbug doesn't do those things. CW -

I'd agree with that (except by Hubbard Glacier - it's COLD there! ). CW -

I was only there a week, but I miss Alaska... It's humid here, but only 77 now (was 85 when I got home a couple of hours ago - storm coming through, lowering the temp). Heat index is 80./ Temperature: 77.2°F Pressure: 29.29" Average Wind: 3mph NNE Sunrise: 5:48 AM Humidity: 67% Sunset: 8:45 PM Dew Point: 66°F Moonphase: 82 Heat Index: 80°F Monthly Rain: 1.27" High: 86°F Rain: 0.05" Rain Rate: 0.08"/h Low: 67 °F Gusts: 20mph SE We've had 12 or 13 days of 90°F this year soi far. Blech. This is in the Twin Cities, MN area. For those who like weather -- take a look at http://www.weatherbug.com. It's kinda cool, tells you the temp, warns of approaching storms, has nice animated radar, pictures from cameras, etc. It's free if you want to deal with ads on the display, or is $20/year if you want to have it ad-free. I really like it. (yes, the stats above are all from WeatherBug, and there's more ). There are similar free weather-tracking apps for your desktop available, but none seem as good as WeatherBug IMHO. I'll give everyone an update on the Bills/Packers scrimmage. (I'm hoping to make it into a DVD as well, since it'll be broadcast in WI!). CW -
I read on Sabres.com that they were rolling back season ticket prices by ~35%. That's pretty significant. CW

Guilty... Nobody ever showed me how to fix stuff... And when I try it myself, I seem to break it worse. CW
