  1. Yup - and it was an unnecessary penalty as well... CW
  2. http://www.bugmenot.com CW
  3. I was wondering the same thing. CW
  4. There's an article on the front page of TBD about Leonhard. CW
  5. No, the "Sounds of the Game" CW
  6. No, because he hasn't played in nearly two years. CW
  7. It's early - he's due for an injury any day now. CW
  8. http://www.nasa.gov Some cool video; it started as a small ball of light, and now you can make out the shuttle. CW
  9. Check out the Trading Post: http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?act=S...t=0#entry114049 I finished the scrimmage today and it turned out pretty good (if not a bit barebones). The main menu is pretty amusing if I do say so myself -- I think people who follow the board will get a kick out of it. There's also some awesome pictures from Macnmotion, as well as pictures from the scrimmage that I took and also pictures from the Packers bike ride. If anyone has any other pictures they'd like me to put on the DVD, PM me and I'll give you an email address to send them to. You'll get full credit, but no royalties Hopefully this allows everyone who couldn't see the scrimmage a chance to see the Bills and decide for themselves how they feel the workouts are going. Plus, it's Bills football, so it's obviously good Send me PMs or email me if you already have it. CW
  10. I forgot to mention in my Packers scrimmage note that Milloy was PUMPED before the game. He ran onto the field (no fanfare or announcing of players or anything), and he jumped around for a few seconds, pumped his fists, and then ran to the Bills side of the field. Kinda cool to see, considering I was probably the only one paying attention to him. He's going to have a great season. CW
  11. First "enhanced" preseason game? Bills vs Denver. CW
  12. Umm, if people would actually read the whole post... CW
  13. Some, but most people assume all accountants can do taxes well because a lot of accountants say, "Yeah, I do taxes." They just don't let their clients know that they don't do it well at all. CW
  14. Also remember that accountants are NOT the same as tax professionals. You might want to talk to a tax pro to get some advice on lowering your taxes. My wife works part-time as a tax advisor (for H&R Block) and she said accountants are generally the worst when it comes to tax time because they don't know the tax laws at all. CW
  15. Come on, he's just a rookie! He's bound to screw up, and that's ok.
  16. Ben R? Kurt Warner? Heaven forbid someone give their opinion around here. Don't even have to predict doom and gloom, just say a player didn't look very good and you get jumped on. CW
  17. Agreed, although you might want to wait until JPL leads a TD drive before saying that... CW

  19. Sounds a lot like JPL against Denver last year.

  21. Yeah, you wouldn't know anything about that.
  22. Whirley-Pop is much better than movie theater popcorn (or at least the same): http://www.popcornpoppers.com/24000.html http://www.popcornpoppers.com/43624.html The secret is in the oil -- theaters use coconut oil. I've converted a few people here to Whirley Pop in the past CW
  23. The local radio said that one review headline for the movie said: "Cataclysmically Retarded" It got a 1 from that review as well. CW
  24. There's two ways to learn how to write -- read lots, and write lots. That's about it... No book can "teach" you how to write, it's simply an iterative process. Keep in mind that 90% of your time will be revising what you've already written; nobody writes a good first draft. You can usually find some creative writing groups that you could join to help with the editing portion. Basically a group of people get together at a coffee shop or book store or whatever and you critique everybody's writing. You MUST remember that they're critiquing your WRITING, and not YOU. Lots of people have trouble with this distinction. If you want me to read anything you write, let me know. I've taken a few fiction writing classes in college (as electives) and I'm not half bad. The professor wanted me to work in IT for a couple of years, save my money, then quit and write fulltime. I enjoy writing, but I'm not into the "starving artist" thing. CW
  25. Then why does anyone watch preseason games if we're not "allowed" to comment on whether a player played well or not? For that matter, why are you even posting anything at all now, since you stated you have nothing to say about the matter until week 4? CW
