  1. Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but did you watch any other preseason games? I'd guess that they cut stuff out from those as well... And if they didn't, the only reason we got cut up was because our game was over 4 hours long if I recall... CW
  2. Same here! I always think that it's camera tricks when watching magicians on TV; much more entertaining in person. CW
  3. It's on Wednesday nights at 9pm cst on A&E. This guy is really freaky. I've only seen one episode, but it was pretty amazing. He's basically a street magician who does all sorts of weird stuff. The one I saw had him levitating -- and not just an inch or so! He'd float a few feet off the ground! He floated on an escalator as it went up. On top of that, he somehow managed to balance himself laying down, using only one leg to keep himself up. If that's not amazing enough, he then did that with someone else! Tough to explain, but you really should watch it if you like magic shows. It's pretty freaky. http://www.crissangel.com http://magic.about.com/od/biosonfamousmagi...r/mindfreak.htm CW
  4. And how would YOU know that?! I'll be at the game, although not sure about tailgating beforehand. This is all assuming that Northwest Airlines manages to fly me home Friday... CW
  5. Don't tempt him - we should be supporting him kicking the habits! Congrats from me, Real. To answer the original question -- starting your own radio station is all but out of the question unless you have MAJOR cash laying around. Even then, chances are low; most stations are owned by "big business" now. However, you might be able to call some smaller stations and offer to do some sort of sports talk show. College stations would be another option, although I'm not sure if you have to be a student to do that... You could also do "internet radio." There's several examples of that on the 'net. Basically you get a microphone and you stream your show, and people can either call you or use some sort of voice chat software. I don't know the technical details, but it IS possible. CW
  6. Yes; I meant I didn't know WHO they were, other than football players. (ie: was that Trent Green? Priest Holmes? No clue...) CW
  7. Definately not c). The Chiefs aren't even there to cover during training camp, their in River Falls, WI. My wife and I had dinner in River Falls (we live about 5 minutes from there), and we were seated right next to five KC players. No idea who they were though... This other family came in and gawked at the players the entire night. They must be used to it though, because they didn't seem to pay it any attention. I was embarassed for the gawking family... Football players are people too! Of course if it was Spikes, Moulds, Fletcher, and McGahee sitting there, maybe I'd think differently... Then again, probably not. *shrug* CW
  8. It's pr0n, not pron... CW
  9. What, so now you think you're better than we are? Looking down at us unwashed masses, just because we don't watch obscure movies?! CW
  10. Oh, I didn't remember hearing him say that. I knew about the I vs we thing, but not the "I watch game film" thing. That's funny CW
  11. Define "higher level." More wins? More touchdowns? What? CW
  12. He looks like the evil gremlins from the movie Gremlins. CW
  13. I think you're confusing DB with DF... CW
  14. If that did happen, VA is correct in his prediction on what people here will say. CW
  15. I corrected your post in red. No matter what he does in Dallas, he will be bashed - as will any poster who doesn't have a torch and pitchfork at the ready. CW
  16. Everyone play nice Haddad won't be the #3 receiver. He may stick on the team if he can do return duties; I think that's all that's kept him in the league, but he's not great at that either IMHO... CW
  17. Oh look, another Bledsoe thread from the people who say we shouldn't talk about Bledsoe anymore.
  18. Wow, talk about propoganda: "Unfortunately, this despicable action tonight only proves how low the supporters of this administration will go. They will not put their skin or blood into the war in Iraq. Now we know they meant it when they chanted, "We don't care". The right-wingers don't care. The people who support George W. Bush and went out to protest Cindy Sheehan and her cause do not care about the troops. They just don't care at all." and: "I want to be sure before I start calling everyone who voted for Bush (and still believes in him) a scumbag." That's just like saying all Muslims are evil because of 9/11. People can be really stupid... (and that includes the truck driver) CW
  19. Your wife called you on your blind date...?
  20. I've heard that too, but I don't buy it... CRT sets, on the other hand, do have a lot of advantages over LCD/DLP/Plasma. The biggest disadvantage is their size. CW
  21. I went to a Best Buy Magnolia (Best Buy with a Home Theater store inside), and I actually saw a record player for sale, and it was $129. Didn't know they still made those... My parents still have one, as well as an 8-Track player. Don't think they use it much/at all, but still. CW
  22. How much money have we been putting into the offense? Have we picked up any top-tier players for offense in years? I don't think so... Yes, we drafted some players that are turning out good (WM, LE), but aside from the QB, we havn't brought in anybody good and have let a lot of good people go. Also, the OL hasn't been addressed in a decade. CW
