  1. You don't make your comments inside of the quote box! CW
  2. Well, the OP needs to agree to send me a copy first CW
  3. Waiting for what? You didn't say anything....
  4. I'd be more than willing. CW
  5. This "he can improve" line is getting old... If he can improve, he can also regress. Actually, can you regress if you havn't done anything yet? I don't know... Is it Opening Day yet? CW
  6. I'm surprised by Lee being cut. The other 6? Who cares. CW
  7. I didn't see the Bills/Bears game (need to check if it's on again so I can TiVo it...) I keep reading people saying that JPL isn't making mistakes, ala Bledsoe. However, he's had the following "mistakes:" Sack/fumble against the Colts Sack/safety against the Packers - after running backwards away from the pass rush (taken back because of a defensive penalty) Fumble against the Bears These things seem similar to the Bledsoe era -- the only difference is that they havn't directly hurt us yet, but that's just luck of the draw. The OL is definatley the weak link, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar result from last year because ofiit. CW
  8. Potentially. Only time will tell... My guess? I bet the Bills of 2005 look very similar to the Bills of 2004. I think our problems of late are due to the OL, not the QB. CW
  9. So because JPL says he wants to do well, he WILL do well? CW
  10. At least learn a little about the subject before spouting off: http://www.schneier.com/crypto-gram-0508.html#1 The whole article is good, but here's some key points at the end: CW
  11. I actually disagree; I thought it was the correct call and that Reed was a bonehead for doing it. C'est la vie. CW
  12. Would those be the same blocking skills that lost the Pittsburgh game last year? I'm pretty sure it was Reed who was holding some guy who had NO shot at tackling our guy (Evans?) as he waltzed into the endzone. 10 yard penalty, try again, don't convert, attempt a FG, miss it.... Haddad can't do worse than that, can he? CW
  13. Sorry I couldn't be there. On the bright side, the electrical is now finished in my basement! Trim/doors should be done tomorrow, then it's just carpet (scheduled in 3 weeks), and the basement is DONE! Can't wait to do play by play during the regular season! CW
  14. I know two people with law degrees. It took my wife's cousin a year or so to get a job (not sure why) - this was in Madison, WI. Another friend from high school got her law degree, worked in the field for awhile, and hated it. This was in NY somewhere (probably around NYC, but I'm not 100% sure). She went back to school, got her degree in library sciences, and now works at the UB library. Didn't sound like her law degree was any sort of problem. I'd say that if your heart isn't into it, you should probably find something else, but that's a decision you're going to have to make on your own. CW
  15. This isn't going to help you out very much, but the WalMart in Niagara Falls, NY had a couple of really nice polo-type shirts for only $20. They also had some nice tshirts for $12. CW
  16. After being unsuccessful in finding the Botanical Gardens and Butterfly conservatory in NF, Ontario, we continued up to Toronto on the 23rd. We first stopped at the Science Museum. It was DEFINATELY aimed at kids... I think we were the only people there without any children. The exhibits were mostly dull, but the planetarium presentation was pretty cool, as was the "Extsreme Science" demonstration (although I had done 90% of what they showed in high school and college labs). It was still fun though. We also caught an IMAX movie there called, "Adrenaline Rush: The Science of Risk" and that was pretty cool too - IMAX movies always look and sound great. After this, we went downtown to find where Blue Man Group was going to play. Found the building, drove around to find parking, and then wandered the streets of downtown Toronto. We didn't see anything that exciting (although people watching was rather fun), but we did notice that there were a lot of stores in favor of legalizing weed. Found that a bit odd. We found a nice restaurant across the street from where the show was going to be (Casa di Pasta) and the food there was really good. I'd highly recommend the Oriental Seafood Soup - big portion, great taste, and only $9 CAD. My wife had some pasta in cream sauce and it was only $7 CAD. The cheese cake we had for dessert was also excellent (and only $4 CAD). After dinner, we went to the Panasonic Theater where Blue Man Group (http://www.blueman.com/) was performing. The theater was very cozy -- probably sat less than 500 people, but I'm not sure. The show was absolutely AMAZING and I highly recommend it to anyone. A nice combination of music and comedy. Don't want to say too much, as I don't want to spoil it for others, but let's just say audience participation (especially at the end) was a LOT of fun! We had a great time, thanks for the recommendations! Next time we go, we want to hit the Hockey Hall of Fame, as well as some other things so the recommendations that we didn't get to will be used next year Thanks all! CW
  17. He's not better than Stojan's grandmother though, that's for sure. CW
  18. You actually CAN PPV individual games... But it costs ~$20-$30/game (don't remember exactly). Not exactly cost effective, but a nice option if you're visiting someone with DirecTV who doesn't have the Ticket and you want to watch the Bills... I guess... CW
  19. I've been to games against the Vikings (twice) and Packers (once). The first time against the Vikes, everything was cool (although we were in a big group of Bills fans...) The second time was good too, although there were a couple of Vikings fans trying to provoke our group by saying very inapprorpriate things (there were kids in our group). The guards went after teh Bills fans. In Green Bay (the 10-0 game in '02), I had a great time (except for the ending). Happened to sit next to another Bills fan I didn't know. Second play of the game, we get an INT and both of us are whooping it up. A Packer fan behind us just looked and said, "Celebrate now, it's the last good play you'll have." Unfortunatley, he was right... The fans in GB were awesome though. I'd say wear your Jets colors, don't be an idiot, and befriend people in your area. I'd recommend buying tickets in the lower bowl areas, as those are usually season tickets being sold and you're more likely to have a favorable experience I would think (can't guarantee that, but it's my general impression). CW
  20. I know people have mentioned that there's a place near the stadium to buy Bills gear (I'm looking for tshirts mainly), but I can't remember where that is. I'll be going to the stadium in a few hours, so if anyone can tell me before then, I'd appreciate it! Thanks! CW
  21. I assumed (incorrectly?) that the injury in Tampa derailed him and that he wasn't fully recovered when he hurt himself later on. Could be wrong though. CW
  22. It's probably just a typo on their page, but this is the advertisement for the '04-'05 season. We're entering the '05'-'06 season... CW
  23. So how do you get a tracking number with Priority Mail? Isn't that extra? CW
  24. Injuries suck, and are a part of the game. What sucks in this case was that Tampa Bay player INTENTIONALLY injured him and ruined his career. CW
