    While I agree that Spikes is a better player and more valuable to the Bills, I don't think he's harder to replace -- our depth at LB is supposed to be phenomenal (and looks to be, from what I've seen in preseason). The dropoff at CB is much higher IMHO. CW

    I didn't say I don't want to go 1-0 - I do! I just don't think it makes that big a deal if we go 1-0 with everyone else or if we go 1-0 and everyone else goes 0-1. We still need to beat the teams in our division regardless. CW

    20-28 vs 17-31 would be a better comparison. Williams also led his team to a better record (8-8) in one of his first three seasons than Belichek ever did. You can spin stats anyway you like, but you have no way to know whether he's going to do well as a HC in the future or not, simply based on his three years in Buffalo. CW

    I bet Browns fans were saying the same thing when they let one of their coaches go because he sucked. I think he later ended up winning three of the past four Superbowls. The league has a lot of examples of coaches who did extremely well their second time around, using their first experience as a learning excercise. CW

    I'm glad Leonhard made the squad -- my father-in-law will be pleased as well (he's a huge Badgers fan).
