  1. Its been all over the Trenton Times and 610 in Philly is reporting the same thing. I didnt believe the first story but even after TD and the Eagles pres said they havent talked they again reported that TD is looking into fitting him under the cap. Apparently we have made an offer for a 2nd and 3rd for Corey Simon. Seems steep to me but whatever. I posted this same thing on the Bills-zone board and a guy who lives in Philly said its been circulating down there. TD is also apparently trying to get Clements a long term deal before the season starts and if he cant fit both, he will fit Clements in first. Heres what the Philly guy said: Mark Eckel from the Trenton Times is the beat reporter for the Eagles for the Sporting News..... The Trenton Times is very credible..... Eckel also reports on 610AM WIP, the 24 hour sports talk radio station where most of the rumors flow through..... Again, the deal on the table is a 2006 2nd and 3rd round pick for Simon..... Donahoe is working on the cap now to see if he can do it..... the dilemma is that he is quietly working on a contract extension for Clements, and wants to get it done before the season starts..... if he can make both deals happen, he will, if he can't, he's going to priortize with Clements..... forget all of the 'trade Moulds or Evans' crap, it ain't gonna happen, this is the deal..... I apologize if I don't have any links, but I am from Philadelphia (live in L.A. now) and have dozens of friends and family who are reporting this, as they have seen it on the news and all listen to WIP..... no guarantees, but let's cross our fingers for Donahoe to make it ALL happen, and this team will be one step closer to being a real force.....
  2. I asked the question because I am clueless about it. I dont know the ins and outs of the stadium. Wait, asking aboiut seats to watch the Bills on a Bills message board, gheeeez
  3. Fins: Cecil Collins Ricky Williams Jim Drunkenmiller Randy McMichael Lawrence Philips Jimmy Johnson- didnt do anything himself, just said he would draft Hitler if he could play Bills: OJ Travis Henry Matt Stevens Who has the worst history of team losers. OJ is a BIG hit for sure.
  4. section 331, row 37. I have never been, are those seats good?
  5. Absolutely do NOT agree. You demand the JP led team to go to the playoffs? Nice try, find another team that has the right to demand a playoff berth with a rookie QB. Next year we MUST go to the playoffs. ABSOLUTELY MUST BE DONE. But not this year. All the excuses are removed next year. This year, JP will have to learn. Now, I think we will in fact make the playoffs. I love our early season schedule. It would prove to be great for us to have JP have easier games early.
  6. No clue what the fuss is about. Name 3 GM's you would rather have. Thats what I thought. Butler screwed us for several years of the first part of TD's tenure. As much as I could complain about the Bledsoes, there are more Prices and Henrys that netted us compensation when it didnt work out. You want to gripe about the Jennings and Williams? How many teams have lost a Jennings or Williams type and still kept competitive. OK, Philly lost Hugh Douglas AND Jeremiah Trotter and Troy Vincent, did it hurt them? I seriously dont see all the complaints, nothing short of a perfect off season every year would make some of you happy.
  7. Got them from a friend of my wives!!! The are season ticket holders tickets! I have been a Bills fan since the mid 80"s and have never been. Slam all you want, I dont blame you, I just have always felt that I would get better coverage on the TV. Anyways, I have been a rampant hardcore fanatic the past 7 years, studying the draft, all the players, etc... and this is such a big deal for me. I cant WAIT!!!!
  8. I used to patrol off Mass in the US Coast Guard and would sometimes see MASSIVE fins sticking out of the water. They dont come too close to shore usually, but rather stay out about 12-20 miles off where the water is about 10 degrees cooler. If you think that the NE coast doesnt have sharks, you are sadly mistaken!
  9. exactly my take. I think behind McNally though Gandy could be above average this year.
  10. Why isnt he? Gandy was taken 6th overall in the 3rd round in the 2001 draft. Jonas Jennings was in fact taken later than Gandy. Now Richie Incognito, and Evan Mathis were taken in the same round but later in this years draft. Now, Gandy is a 4 year pro and has the following resume: 2003: Started career-high 14 games at LT, including the first 13 of the season, while missing 2 games to injury ... Made first career opening-day start at SF (9/7) ... Made 24th consecutive start at GB (12/7), but left game in 4th qtr. due to shoulder injury ... Inactive Games 14-15 due to shoulder injury, but returned to start season finale at KC (12/28). 2002: Made his NFL debut for the Bears 4 weeks into the season and went on to establish himself as a starter at 2 different positions over the final 11 games of the campaign ... Started at LG Games 6-10 before moving to LT for Games 11-16 ... Inactive for the first 2 games before being active for the first time in his career vs. NO (9/22); active but DNP ... Made NFL debut at BUF (9/29) on special teams ... Subbed for injured LG Rex Tucker vs. GB (10/7) ... Took over starting LG position with first NFL start at DET (10/20) ... Moved to LT when Marc Colombo was lost for the year to injury and made first career start at the position vs. DET (11/24) after never having played the position before at any level during his career. So, why would many rather draft a rookie in round 3 than have a guy who was drafted as a G but has clearly shown the ability to play at LT. That type of switch is not common and is often a tough one to make. The guy started 14 games at the same time that Anthony Thomas ran for 1024 yards in just 13 games. If I had a choice between a rookie in the 3rd and this guy at LT, this guy wins hands down. In fact, I would only take a LT over this guy if he were a high 1st rounder this year. Do I think hes the next Orlando Pace, NO. But is he the next Jonas Jennings? Probably!
