  1. I am. I have been to one, but it was a looooooooooooooooong time ago. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_Pro_Bowl Sold programs before the game and watched the game with a few brothers and my Grandfather. Good memory. Man it was cold that day. Danged ole Chuck Noll had Tom's number. The Juicer was MVP! Go for it I say. It's not a real game and means nothing but so what? Good Father/Son bonding opportunity.
  2. it is. I'm not pessimistic or too negative on the Bills and Jim and Brandon. However, I'll believe they are good when the win/loss record and playoff performance says they are good. The same record as Coach Moron and one more loss than Rex says they are not there yet. Stay tuned ..
  3. What exactly on his record indicates he "probably meant it"? Not trying to defend him, just curious.
  4. This is one of the main reasons I voted for Barack the first time and not the second time. I don't like Trump, but I will say he has gone after and even accomplished more campaign promises (whether you like them or not) than any other president I can remember.
  5. If you want to know how it's done, read this book. https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/david-daley/ratfked/ i got it for my birthday a few years ago. trigger warning - if you still think you have a voice, your representatives represent you, there is such a thing as privacy, and your vote counts, don't read it.
  6. The economy has been humming along for the last 2 years. I just hope Trump and the HoR don't blow it with a long shutdown. So far, 800,000 government people aren't getting paid. Then you have the suppliers like food suppliers at national parks and IT consultants and office supply vendors and the companies that supply them and on and on. i was on an IT project that got shut down last time. A lot More people are not getting paid or paid less than just government workers. Trickle down in action. This could result in weakened consumer confidence which is the driver of a bad economy. Bill Maher might like it, but a lot of us won't
  7. Does anyone else remember when transgender Dr. Renee Richards played on the professional women's tennis tournaments (WTA) in the 1970s? I saw her play once at the Virginia Slims Maureen Conally Brinker tournament in Dallas.
  8. I didn't know Nazis sported shaved heads. I thought the parted their hair in the middle and had funny mustaches. Somehow I think Art Del Cueto and Hector Garza would not appreciate being called "Nazi looking creeps". Diversity makes us stronger, unless Trump does it that is.
  9. Where have I heard this before? I'm my humble opinion it depends on who leaves first. If Tommy, not much changes. The train keeps rolling. In the Tommy era, the Patsies** have gone 13-6 (.684) with Matt Cassell Jimmy G, and Jacoby Brissett at QB. If however, Bill Bellyache quits first, it's over.
  10. I'm not so sure. China built a wall around their country and to this day no Mexican has climbed over it.
  11. I'd just like to see some R with some cred like say Mitt or Paul Ryan run as an independent to do a civic duty to make sure Donald does not win by siphoning off enough voters. Then if an independent won, all the better. Although it would probably just encourage Rs and Ds to work together against the Independent prez. Donald has showed us that Ds and Rs will work together to make sure some outsider doesn't get in. Or if one does, there will be hell to pay and maybe jail time if they get their way. Should Oprah or Snoop Dogg or some other outsider run and win, look the F*** out.
  12. As did I. He had the best bumper sticker. "Better than those other 2 fools." How about Mitt?
  13. Why not? A lot of the people that voted for Obama did.
  14. I'm hoping Mitt runs as an independent. That way he and Donald can both lose. And, it would give my main man Gary Johnson a better chance this time.
  15. I was at that game rooting for the Hawks. Looked like it was over for us, then Tony first bobbles the snap and then while trying to run it in got show string tackled short of the goal line by my favorite guy (Jordon Babineaux, the Cowboy killer). Jordon also intercepted a Blue Dreadslow (Dallas again) pass in 2005 and ran out of bounds in range for the kicker to win on a last second FG. Two of my favorite non Bills in person football experiences.
  16. I hope you and /dev/null are right. But Coach McDermott and Brandon Beane work in mysterious ways. Nothing they do surprises me, so Anderson on the 53 is definitely a possibility. Based on their love for anything Carolina, and the way the QB situation played out in 2018, I suspect Derek does.
  17. I'm not sure if Josh is a help of a hindrance in signing tOp notch FA WRs.
  18. The thing about our record that encourages me is we won 4 out of the last 7. We were trending up and even got a comeback win. This should get the guys that are left a reason to BELIEVE again. Josh's last game waS his best. also during the Chan Gailey era we were going all out to win and going 6-10. This team matches their record with scrubs and a tire fire smoldering mid season.I Gives me hope. go BILLS !!!
  19. No kicked extra points. I like that. Take the opposite strategy of the NFL that elevates kicking to a bigger part of the game. cool that games will be on T V. I'll be watching. go Memphis and Birmingham. i like San Antone too. Salt Lake stole Birmingham's USFL name.
  20. Don t forget about the car elevator in his garage. Or Shamus, that poor dog.
  21. Like who? Certainly not Derek Anderson.
  22. Why not hire him as a coach then? Save the roster spot for someone that can play and actually wants to play.
