I watched the drop video. If Beane and McDermott want to be the brilliant QB evaluators and tank to riches gurus for picking the next Bills HOF QB and inaugural Lombardi hoistsr, they better get him some top notch WRs and a TE. THIS OFF SEASON. Overpay if you have to. We got the bucks. We invested heavily in him. Not getting him quality help would be like buying a Bentley and putting cheap gas in it and not changing the oil and running over mailboxes while hotrorodding it around town.

I find this interesting that Trump supporters, mostly Republican i would assume, want to pay a voluntary tax. -

Maybe our great D coach can figure out how to slow them down a little? They only scored 26 on us on Monday Night and Derek Anderson gift wrapped them 7. Rex held them to 23 once. Wouldn't be too much onus on Wonder Boy if we could do that ... -

My bottom line is still in the hunt for playoffs going into week 17. I'd be good with that next year. Hopefully we win if that's the case. but it really needs to be at least that for me not to get out the pitch forks. -

I can see your point on winning the division sortof. But not on us not making it as a wild card more than once. All those years we went 7-9 or 6-10 we only played them twice. We lost the other 7 or 8 to other teams. How does NE affect that? -

Tony Sparano was able to do it once with an innovative offensive idea that totally caught them off guard and they won the division that year. So it's not like it can't be done. I hate this whole whiny thing that we can't win until NE implodes. -

The whole time NE has been on a tear we've gone 9-7 3 times. 8-8 twice and losing records the rest of the years. And in at least 3 of those years we split with them. So I don't think this has a whole lot to do with our lack of playoff experience. Winning the division perhaps, but making the playoffs, I think not. -

Tom Brady is JAG and no one gave a ***** about him until the Cheaters came calling, Billy Bellyache, the greatest football mind since Amos Alonzo Stagg (or so I hear) says he IS good enough. Who am I supposed to believe, him, or Doc? -

As a point of reference, the Fish under Gase made the playoffs in year 1 and Gase was canned after year 3 with a .500 record. -

It was 12-6 after 3 quarters. We were in it until you know who threw you know what. -

I'm sorry but this is the most pessimistic defeatist attitude of all on TBD. We need to build up a team to beat them (the Giants did). Beating them in their crib might be tough due to all the cheating they do there (cutting out headsets/radio broadcast in headsets/bugged locker room/spy cameras/deflated footballs etc.). But we should be able to at home. Even so, we don't even have to beat them to make the playoffs and even the division if we win enough of our other games. Besides, to me the real difference is Bill Bellyache. If Tommy retires and Bill does not, the train keeps rolling. He's 13-6 in games with Cassel, Jimmy, and Brissett. If Bill retires, things could change. but I'm not willing to wait. Go BILLS !! This seems to support the Bill Parcells' theory. "The coach that is rebuilding is rebuilding for the next coach that comes in." -
Andre Reed Criticizes Personnel Decisions

Yes, but it is a disturbing trend which continues to this day was kindof my point. Back then we dumped a guy that was LT on SB team last year back then and with this group we dumped more guys that are on SB teams. Again, how can these winning teams win with these guys when we decided they aren't good enough or cost too much (yet the other guys can pay them)? We seem to keep making the same mistakes. In 2014 - 2016 we had 3 WRs (Watkins, Woods, Hogan) on our squad that will be playing in the conference championship game this weekend and our WR squad is lame. We also had Harvin. We also had a top 1/3 of the league in scoring offense. This team will never have a good offense or a good QB until we get serious about the WR (and TE) position. Hoping that happens this off season. -

agree to disagree. as I see it, Sammy is a stallion. You need stallions to win. i wouldn't mind dumping him if we had someone better or could get someone better. 2 years later and we're still waiting. We still don't have anyone 1/2 as good even if Sammy only plays 8 games per. i don't get this attitude that if a dude's not Jerry Rice we'd rather just suck along with the likes of Deonte Thompson, McKenzie, Zay, Felton, and Ray Ray. Which one of these guys or any Bills WR the last 2 years start for any of the team that played this weekend? How many would even make their taxi squad? Sammy was the second most productive WR on a team that advanced to AFC Championship game today. Top guy had 10 more yards. But he's not good enough for the Bills? OK. -
