  1. Not no, but H E double hockey sticks NO.
  2. Seeing how these guys draft I could absolutely see it. In 2018 when they traded up for that second 1st round pick they passed on a legit weapon for their newly drafted QB in Ridley, and selected linebacker instead. Not saying Edmunds is not good, but it shows me where their priorities are.
  3. They weren't even all white.
  4. I'm not on it because I think it's dumb, but still get inundated with it everywhere I go. At the Mariners and Bills game they show them on the scoreboard. Theyt play them on trailers on some sports telecasts. Many many many many news stories and newspaper articles are about nothing but tweets. and then the responses. it's like playing Gossip. He said she said. A lot of posts on PPP quote them. It is so lame. I keep meaning to make a bumper sticker that says "Twitter + FaceBook = Trump" but I haven't … yet.
  5. Maybe not, but it sure does make them a good Remington Raider.
  6. You may not be old enough to remember, but I remember when people used to say "I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight for your right to say i t." this was all freedom speech . The guy yelling "Mexicans go home. Puerto Ricans to home.". Whatever the kids were chanting. The Indians doing their song. No one punched or shoved anyone. what is the big freakin' deal?
  7. this is what I was thinking. If they had been wearing Cubs hats it would be nothing.
  8. I certainly hope this is the case. I think for the Bills to ever rise from the ashes we need a really good offense. If we try to play close and win at the end, we are susceptible to those mysterious flags and call. If we're far enough ahead that can't happen. However I 'll believe it when we have a good offense. Let's not forget that Coach McDermott inherited a offense that was #10 in scoring in 2016. With the same QB and offensive line and RB he managed to drop that to 22nd. This year we were also 22nd. OK, bad salary cap, Wood and Richie, rookie QB blah blah blah. We'll see.
  9. Maybe Matt Stafford can turn him into a good WR?
  10. How many points do you get for yards? I think you're basing Edelman and others as being effective due to Tommy, but I base it more on the style of offense they run. That's why they have short fast guys whereas most other teams gravitate to taller lankier WRs. Maybe Welker and Amendola didn't succeed in other places because the offense didn't suit their specific size and skill set like it did in NE? I predict that if Tommy retires after this year and Bill Bellyache does not, they will trade for Foles and the train will keep rolling.
  11. I know this is a popular opinion but I disagree. His WRs may not being the tall lanky go up and grab contested ball types like Julio Jones and AJ Green that one thinks of when great WR discussions come up. But that's not their game. They don't throw contested sideline throws or back of the EZ jump balls. Their offense calls for fast guys running short routes that can catch the football and run with it. Edelman totally fits the Bill as did Welker before him and Amendola and Brandon Cooks. They are very sure handed most of the time as well. So I would argue that he (and the others) ARE great WRs. And lets not forget about The Gronk. And yes, a good defense. In 2018 they were 6th in league in average points per game. In 2017 they were 5th. In 2016 they were numero uno. In 2015, number 10. if you look back over the years this is pretty typical. I don't know how you judge Defenses, but preventing the opposition from scoring points is the way I do it. And before you say that's Tommy too, they had 36 seconds more Time of Possession than Buffalo this year. 2018 - #8, 2017 - #11 2016 #4 2015 - #20. So it's not like they're holding the ball and the D only has to play 20:00 per game. He is good. But his team is stacked and he has had great coaching. I don't say he's not good, but I also don't say he can hide weaknesses, because his team never really has much if any IMHO.
  12. Hawks already had decent talent when Russell arrived. They had gone 7-9 the 2 years before. They won a playoff game (Beast Quake) one of those years. They had the Beast and Sydney Rice. Seems to me they had a better plan. Get some decent talent together, THEN add the QB on rookie contract. We did the opposite. Hopefully it works.
  13. how can you say Brady can? When has he ever been on a team with issues to hide? He took over a playoff team. He has always had a primo OLine. Who can forget Fraud and Monitoring, and Identity Theft Protection? He's always had a lights out kicker and a good defense and WR s that are a perfect fit for the system, The Gronk, and a solid run game. not to mention coaching. And then there's the cheating ...
  14. "I'm not proud of anything I did before I was 40." Who said that?
  15. not necessarily. But then again, how come the ref there didn't know that if you lower your head and plow into a receiver early without even looking for the football is a foul? There were actually 2 fouls by Robey on that hit. Do you think that ref knew the rules and chose not to call it? That's even more disturbing. i was thinking of more of a penalty on the ref. That was a huge blown call that should be accounted for, not just move onto the next game. There should be serious consequences for a blown call like that. As long had he/she is suspended, couldn't hurt to brush up on an overly complicated rule book.
  16. Or at least fired. I think if a ref makes a call that bad he/she should be suspended. to get back off suspension they need to get 90%+ on a hard 100 question rules test.
  17. Respect who you want, I'll respect who I want. How about that? I did include IMHO in my original statement. You have yours and I have mine. that's why they make chocolate and vanilla.
  18. I'm definitely right. I hear what you're saying, but most of the guys in Viet Nam either HAD to go or were going to jail or had to run off to Canada or something. I think that makes it a little different than Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom or whatever that was in 1991. Afganistan ain't no picnic either.
  19. Yeah I was at that game too. I think it was George Wilson that got that initial pick six. I forgave Chris Kelsy for all past and future sins that night by chasing Romo in the EZ and then blocking the pass and catching it for a pick six. It was a heckuva game. I guess I gave Dick the benefit of the doubt that night, but was not happy. Especially when the boys had only a few seconds and EVERYONE except Dick and Perry Fewell evidently knew they were going to throw a sidelines pass and they gave it up to TO setting up the long FG.
  20. You are definitely incorrect. I understand not all that are in a theater are carrying a rifle and seeing combat. I did serve in the USMC. You have your opinion, I have mine. Thanks for your service. Did I say they did? Please quote me if I did. I usually "beat" my Yamaha drum kit,. I has a lot of drums :).
  21. I stopped paying attention to the NBA a long time ago after seeing way too many late game questionable calls to help the Lakers, Celtics, Sixers, and Bulls win. I was a big fan too. But it became obvious certain teams were treated differently by the refs than others. I would argue that it was one of the most if not the most blatant non call I've ever seen in all my years (many) of watching NFL football. There was nothing close about it. What was close about it?
  22. If a person served in the military it does not make their opinions any more important. However if a person IS a Viet Nam veteran who actually served IN Viet Nam, That's a little bit different. That was as some F%$ked up Sh!t our country put them through. They DESERVE our respect IMHO.
  23. I would call Golden Tate elite talent. He's number 1 on my list. I would call Golden Tate elite talent. He's number 1 on my list.
  24. i wonder why that was? The NFL is making Jacksonville into London's team. Works out a lot better for marketing for the Jags to win that game, and miraculously they did. NRC. One of 5 guys McDermott and Beane ran off that started and made big plays today. And that's not counting the QB they chose NOT to draft.
