Bottom Line: RUSSIA trolled us on our own stuff. FakeBook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, … The answer is for people to be smarter and remember the old adage, believe 1/2 of what you see and 1/4 of what you read, and I'll add 1/10 of what you read online in your feed.

I heard Congessman Nadler tell Anderson Cooper that since Mueller's report must first to to AG, he could edit it before sending it to Congress. So they need to keep those investigations rolling to find out what really happened. Robert Mueller is becoming the D's Hans Blix allegedly who couldn't find his butt with both hands.

CNN is also running editorials saying a smoking gun is not really necessary. I read it about a week or so ago. This after many claims of Mueler has found said smoking gun.

America also has 10 x as much money to pay for it.

No crap. This is one of the things that irks me about this whole Medicare for All slogan. Medicare is not free. I've gotten to the age where I needed to start looking into it for planning purposes. If you want it to cover things like regular insurance does like prescriptions etc., you gotta BUY part C I think it is which is hundreds of dollars a month. Then you still got co pays. What I think what they really mean is comprehensive health reform which was a slogan that didn't work so well last time, so they are giving it a new name that sounds cool.

How do yall pay for it BigMcD? Part of the 3.2 could come from stop paying for things like Medicare, Medicaid, VA and roll it all into Comprehensive Insurance for all. Presently the government pays for 60% of all health care now. I probably wouldn't like it because I go to VA and get excellent care. Would be great for small bidness if they didn't have to pay ridiculous premiums for their employees. You pay for it one way or the other.

Slavery Reparations V.2 - A Worthy Discussion
reddogblitz replied to Chef Jim's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
10. If we do reparations, are we even? No more need for affirmative action and quotas etc.? My friend who is a rabid yellow dog Democrat and all in on all things progressive asked me that. I have wondered about that myself too. -
I don't find it that interesting or even surprising. A LOT of veterans think war is dumb and total waste of time, money, and lives. We've had Veterans like this throughout history. The most decorated Marine in World War I, Smedley Butler, wrote a book about it called "War Is A Racket" that is as applicable today as it was then. You can download it and read it here: https://scoutingweb.com/war-is-a-racket-pdf/ Also think of Ron Kovak and John Kerry (back in the 60s/70s). My wife had a neighbor that was a bomber in World War II. When asked what he did in the war he said he bombed women and children. Like I said a LOT of veterans are anti-war. Like me and you for example. She is against these endless conquests BECAUSE she is a veteran and served as a medic in Iraq and has seen up close how ineffective and bad it is.

Apparently Democrats stand for nothing...or...

The one that gets me is the 70% tax rate. America was humming with that and we should go back to it because America was really good back then. Wasn't America White Again back then? Alexandria wants to take us back to that. -

Whenever these discussion come up, the life of the mother is brought up. Is that even a real thing? The president of Planned Parenthood said the following in 1967. With all of the advances in medicine since 1967 there would seem to be even less case for it now. http://stjosephprc.org/save-life-of-mother/ -
I've been thinking for a while that this is really what's behind the endless investigations. Both sides are playing. Two things both parties can agree on. War, and keeping everyone else out. With Trump as a total outsider they want to make an example out of him in case any other outsiders like Oprah, or Snoop, or Kanye, or Mark Cuban think they want to run. If the HoR and Senate want to sift though any rich person's books and their lawyer's office, they're toast. ======================== Thanks for your service John. I don't know a whole lotabout Tulsi but I love that she's a fellow veteran who served in Iraq and knows these conquests never work and doesn't want to get in any more. However, she made some gay or trans thing a while back so she's out.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

Don't get me wrong. I am NOT a Trump fan and look forward to the day he is gone. But I hate this bidness of many of trying to get rid of him by any means necessary. If Mueller digs up a blue dress or tapes I'll listen. But at least as of now there is no evidence or indication that Mueller HAS found such evidence. And yes, Trump University was a scam. He is a huckster after all. The time to be concerned about that or do anything about it was years ago. However, he IS the president of the United States like it or not. Deal with it, just like we all have to do with a president we don't like. I really wish the Ds would get to work and find a good candidate that doesn't spew this racial division stuff because as history has shown, that's a loser. I'm not holding my breath. -
The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

Here's one thing that kindof bugged me about the media and Trump. there was no "First 100 Days" for Trump. In the past when a new president came along the "4th estate" would cut the prez some slack for the first 100 days to get his president legs before being too critical of him. Obama and Bush seemed to get that treatment. Trump didn't even get "First 100 minutes" treatment. Sad. I do agree with our last point though . But really, it's beside the point. -

No. JP was a much more accurate long passer so Lee was probably better off where he was.
