I was born and raised in Texas and lived there most the my adult life. I saw Molly speak in 2000 on the campus of North Texas State University. Her deal was more making fun of mostly Republican politicians as opposed to being onto the real political stuff like say Paul Begala (another Texan). The biggest take away I got from her speech was when it comes to politics and elections etc., You're paying for it so you might as as watch it and enjoy it. Sage advice. It's how I'm viewing this thing. There are certainly a lot of entertaining aspects.

I don't live in CA but I do live in high tax WA. I can buy 1 gram for $5. That is $140 per ounce. On the black market pre legalization I could buy a quarter ounce of $50. Do the math. $35 vs $50. Which would you choose? I have also made purchases in CA and OR and the prices were about the same. Did not do an exhaustive search and it was a couple of years ago. I suspect most law abiding citizens would rather deal with a legal legitimate business than with criminals. I know I do. True, black market will not go away. But how many people still buy black market booze?

where I live it's so cheap and easy at the store there is no reason to go black market. Store prices are now lower than black market was pre legalization.

I remember we had a dude here who was a retired police officer during the aftermath of the George Floyd incident. He had great insight from being on the ground and in the middle of it for the previous 30 years. He had thoughtful educated discussions with those willing to discuss police and defunding it like adults. He left. I don't remember his name but he was quality and he left I suspect due to childish responses. He got a lot before he left.

I don't l like Trump (or Uncle Joe). However I think the best thing Trump has done is something he didn't do. He didn't get us into or escalate any foreign wars. 2017 -2021 has been our most peaceful presidentialial term since probably Jimmy Carter or Ronald Reagan.

Here's what I don't get about Senator Harris. 9 !months ago she said on National TV that Uncle Joe is a racist. Then, she said she believes Tamara Reed. (Of course she also believed Juicy Smolliet), So Uncle Joe is a rapist/racist. Fast forward to today and she thinks Uncle Joe is very smart, a great guy, and she loves talking on to him (racist/rapist). I'm having a hard time squaring this.
