  1. Dutch. Get it straight.
  2. Being serious - I used to have a few (and not much in them!). Back when I used to travel overseas a TON. Trust me...once the Patriot Act went into place after 9/11, that #*&$ all went away in a big hurry. Don't think for a minute you can hide stuff offshore. You'll get a note from the IRS, and you'd better answer it FAST.
  3. I was actually blasting this last night. Good man.
  4. You're right here! It's been nice communicating with all y'all this season, but if they lose, I'm staying clear of this place! Nervous about today's game. Weirdly, though, I think the Bills might do a little better next week (if they make it) just because I'm hopeful they get a few key people back from the MASH unit. After last night's game, my #2 choice looks good to make the Big Dance. Lions are better than the Bucs today, and will murdelize Purdy next week.
  5. This. I live near Watertown, and have had to make the sojourn through Ontario lake effect on 81 too many times to recall on the way to Syracuse Airport. You might THINK you know how to drive in snow, but until you've gone through whiteout effects on the lee of Erie or Ontario...well, you don't. Nothing can prepare you for that.
  6. I heard this from my former distributor in Stockholm. Because of this, I figured it was Scandinavian. But it resonated coming from someone who lives with bad weather more than most of us.
  7. Just did a quick check. Bills only lost once to the Pats* during this 3-season stretch (1991). Great years...
  8. Multimillion mile flyer on United. Aisle seat, belt fastened.
  9. Heard Carroll is available.
  10. This is SO Mary Tyler Moore. Takes me back to another time.
  11. Dad was a professional firefighter for 28 years. Not a lot of laughs associated with fires. Glad that everyone got out. Now...the fact that he's standing around wearing a boot on Wednesday afternoon is interesting...
  12. So if I ask real nice, will this guy leak some info on Tua's left shoulder? Because - to THESE eyes - that looked like an ugly landing.
  13. And, personally, I'd find that to be a fascinating game to watch.
  14. Okay, so that was pretty good.
  15. Pour it on for 3 quarters and run with Cook and Murray from 3:00 - 4:00. Pray for a boring 4th quarter.
  16. Just bumping the post. Less than 24 hours out, from the NWS for Orchard Park: "Rain, possibly mixed with snow showers, mainly after 3pm. High near 38. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible."
  17. I believe the poster is referring to a scenario in which the Saudis funded an alternative league that would be based in the US (a la teams suddenly forming in Birmingham or San Antonio). I could be wrong. Having spent a little time in Saudi, Kuwait and Egypt, I agree with you wholeheartedly. A sandbox, with all the little turds included. As for the Chargers, I went to a few games at "The Murph" back in the late 80's and early 90's. Honestly - the place was pretty good after the facelift that took place back then. I get it - someone wasn't making enough money on the existing stadium, so greed won. But it wasn't as bad as it's made out to be. And the fans may not have been "rabid", but they were supportive. San Diego, back in the Fouts/Coryell era, was strongly behind their team because it was FUN to watch! (Okay, they'd lose 53-51, but it was entertaining). And their new uniforms suck. Jesus. What an abomination.
  18. One of my go-to recipes is my chicken vegetable noodle soup. Well, I'm going to switch it up and make a large kettle of beef vegetable noodle soup. Just looked up a recipe with an Asian twist that calls for red wine, so it's off to the liquor store. Again. Guess I know what I'm eating and drinking tomorrow.
  19. I can't disagree with your assessment, other than to pick around the edges with the Jets. I wouldn't put money on Rodgers returning. Just a hunch. Let's put it this way - I wouldn't want to have to be making the "go/no go" decision with that guy at QB come draft day.
  20. Just had the NWS site up, so I plugged in Orchard Park. "Sunday: A chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. West wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%" 72 hours out, so it'll change a little - but not much. Start to lean on the run game in the second half.
  21. Question for you. Did you get this off the internet, or did you film it at the San Diego Zoo one afternoon? One approach is more creative than the other.
  22. Agreed. Not to mention that Spectrum just laid off a slew of their local newscasters. Very happy that I switched this past August.
