No arguing the Chiefs have been better but is not like the gap is huge between the two teams. Team needs to work on executing better come crunch time. Stinks their defense covered up some of the offensive inadequacies this season. However, the Chiefs are setup well into the future so you hope you can steal a Super Bowl or two during Allen's prime.

You hope it will play out like Peyton or Big Ben where you can steal one from Mahomes just like those guys did against Brady. Part of it is Mahomes though too who is willing to take the easy completions and move the chains.

KC is going to make adjustments. 49ers going to need to extend lead by couple of scores and make KC one dimensional. That early fumble could end up being costly.

I just don’t see how Diggs gets traded. Can’t see any team offering anything worthwhile. If any team was offering mid 1st round draft pick for Diggs. I would do that trade in a heartbeat if I was Beane. Mid first round pick probably gives you enough ammo to get one of the top 3 WRs in this class.

If there was any year where award should have gone to Non QB it was this year. However, not going to go crazy with the result. I would have given it to McCaffrey. However, Josh’s numbers at the end of the year probably had a lot to do with it. Numbers weren’t eye popping. I think if Josh had cut down on half of the turnovers and we didn’t have some of the losses we had to the bottom feeders. Josh would have easily taken award.

There are degrees to everything. As long as you have a Franchise QB window remains open while they are in their prime. How open varies from season to season. I think we will need to re-tool the roster and move on from some of the high priced Vets on team. So essentially going forward with a youth movement and dealing with the growing pains while still trying to make another run.

Yeah if we can swap out those WR screens for RB ones instead once in a while would be nice.

Highly unlikely Diggs could be traded for anything close to what was suggested in article. However, if Beane could pull off something like that he would be a magician. I would be open to all those deals.

Von is a special case and we are stuck with him next season. So don’t restructure let him play out this year and then we move on next year if he fails to return to form. With Diggs they could find a way to make it work but would all depend if there is anyone willing to even trade for him. Otherwise they both will be here next season.

I think this iteration of the Bills competing for a SuperBowl is over and the window has closed. I would be looking at mini rebuild if I was Beane and start cutting the fat in order to set us up for the next run. So I would go with youth movement next year while still trying to compete and taking our lumps.

Have to imagine there will be a transition to that eventually not sure if it will be this year or not. However, I can't imagine taking a promotion and not eventually being able to run defense how you want. Otherwise he would have been better off trying to get job elsewhere.
