If we can resign Stevie I think our staff is content with what we have at WR for now. With a healthy Donald Jones and a healthy Marcus Easley with David Nelson in the slot we may not be great but good enough to fill other needs in areas we are pathetic at.

Denver's foundation may actually have a chance... A good defense that might have a shot at slowing Brady plus a good running game to eat up some clock and keep Brady off the field. Hopefully they at least make a game of it...go underdogs

Its understandable why they didn't resign Pat, he was on the wrong side of thirty to give out a big contract. Wished we resigned him...who knew he would have another 5+ years of good production...but letting Johnson walk without getting anything for him is mind boggling. With the #'s he has had and the less then stellar QBiing he has received we should be able to franchise him, trade him and get a 1st for him.

Wasn't the point of sitting him to teach him a lesson on not to hurt the team??? What would the point of that be if the didn't intend on keeping him? To make sure he doesnt hurt his next team? makes no sense. It was a meaningless game. I think it was a bad situation Chan tried to put an end to this BS by saying the next person who gets a stupid penalty that hurts the team they're out...So stevie does something that last year he doesn't get penalized for and now he gets penalized for it...Chan tried to keep his word. I feel Chan should have swallowed his pride and put him back in after the half before the game got out of hand. Maybe Chan knew it was a meaningless game maybe he wanted to be able to evaluate the other receivers... who knows but we need Stevie he young hes talented we cant keep letting good players out the door because of old school pride. This is a different kind of immaturity than Jason Peters, where the guy wanted a huge contract before he earned his stripes then sat out and returned out of shaped whining and crying until he gets what he wants...This is a guy that brings it every week and gets a little carried away after he scores a touchdown. Isn't it a good thing to have a player that is so confident that hes going to score that he writes something on his shirt before the game? Is it not worth 7.5 mill a year to have a guy that can put up good numbers against Revis who we play twice a year? Not resigning him makes no sense. We have let good players go before and none of them would mind boggle me more than letting this guy go.

Gailey continuing to put the games in Fitz's hands when we have 2 good backs and a Damion McIntyre on the sideline is mindboggling

It may not show on paper but this team is much better than last year. If the Injuries weren't as severe as they where we most likely would have been in contention for the playoffs.

in switching back to a true 4-3 the only thing we are accomplishing is having 2 good DT's and and decent rotational guy in Spencer. We've watched Kelsey at 4-3 end for years, while serviceable he still is no reason to change your defense plus is is getting old. Barnett is more effective out of the 3-4. So really what your doing is shuffling the same below average talent around and just creating other weak points in the defense. Until we can find a way to consistently wreak havoc in the opponents backfield it doesn't matter if what defense we run.

8-8 and that was healthy

We gid rid of the ball fast....often in the shotgun and 3 step drops under center. Chan is pretty good at mixing it up.
