  1. Hopefully they can kick it up a notch...last year when we did use the wildcat it was the most vanilla version in the history of the NFL
  2. He did have a fairly high contract for a backup, If we had Urbick slide to center earlier instead of Levitre it wouldn't have been so ugly. Still not understanding why we aren't interested in a backup center.
  3. Wouldn't hurt my feelings, but its unlikely. He was also suppose to be a special teams threat but got outplayed by a Justin Rogers, a rookie taken in the seventh round that averaged 10 yards more a return.
  4. Agreed...every day he wakes up is a day closer to the end of the career of Tom Brady...as our team is getting better, his is starting to deteriorate. The league may have turned their backs on spygate but hopefully Karma will catch up to them. We can only hope they have a decade of bad drafts, bad coaching, and a lack of free agent interest to come.
  5. Yup, when you play the Pats your playing Tom Brady....the rest of the team is fairly pedestrian.
  6. could have used him when wood went down,
  7. Chan's got a whole offseason this time to come up with some stuff for Brad Smith and utilizing both CJ and Freddy out of the backfield.
  8. Just watched it... I highly recommend it to lift anybody's spirits
  9. If you take bad linebackers and put them at defensive and take and average DTs and DEs and put them in at linebacker..you are asking to suck.
  10. because we need a LT not a guard
  11. So does kelsay go to the Right side?
  12. Doubtful Merriman remains a Bill. That would be a lot of Money locked up between Merriam, Mario Williams, and Kelsay. If he signs I say Merriman and Dwan Edwards are released shortly after, unless they think Merriman can be an effective LB in the 4-3
  13. Good decision not to lock him up, Hairston will be better and theres better options out there.
  14. Does the tax friendly thing really come into play? Many players residency is outside of NY (I Believe Fitz is in Arizona) Ive worked out of state some in the past and I am able to claim tax exempt when working outside of my home state. As long as they don't declare themselves residents of NY the tax issue shouldn't come into play.
  15. Its not out of the question, we have a very good football team. That being said, having a good "team" meaning that we have to have our core of guys healthy and firing on all cylinders to be successful. We went toe to toe with the best in the league when healthy. We simply do not have the luxury of a team like the Patriots where they have an OK team and one of the best QBs in the game, they can lose players to injury and still win football games because of PITA Brady. Kurt Warner couldn't make an average team good but given a strong supporting cast he could make it go very well. When our team was healthy Fitz made it go too, he hasn't been blessed with the supporting casts Warner had but maybe if we got a couple more pieces we could have something/
  16. Doubt they gave Pears a decent contract to start Hairston over him
  17. Somebody Else will give Mario some ridiculous 100 mill contract. Our starting LDE will be Chris Kelsay. My bet is we let the injury prone Bell walk and draft a LT in round one. This is a weak DE class so some of these DE's that are projected to go in the first half of round one will likely slip into the later picks of round 1 and the first half of round 2.
  18. Great job Buddy:thumbsup:
  19. Are there any Fitzpatrick haters? He's hard not to like, a tough gutsy underdog and a good leader, but the fact of the matter is he's just not that good of a QB. Most of us on this boards just want to see the Bills continually make the playoffs and become a contender for a championship and Fitz ain't it.
  20. WOW:beer: I want what your on:beer:
  21. Free Agency is pretty deep at WR, over spend to keep Stevie or sign a free Agent or lose a first round pick to obtain a guy who will want a big contract eventually. Wallace isn't worth a #10 pic, Roethlisburgers scrambling ability and arm strength makes Wallace look better than he is, Fitz has neither..move on
  22. If I remember correctly Bell did 225 like 8 times....I wonder what he does now? Bell is average at best and injury prone. At some point within the next few years its evident that we are going to have to start developing a QB, having a solid reliable LT in place at that time is a smart move, Haven't we seen enough of trying to develop young QBs behind bad offensive lines? JP had bad pocket awareness but how can he improve on that when there is hardly ever a pocket, Trent had some good games until he started collecting concussions.... Adrian Wilson with the exclamation point.
  23. if we can resign Urbick were in pretty good shape at guard. Levitre, Urbick, and Rhinehart
