  1. Now I like Stevie and despise the Cowboys....but i dont think Stevie would amount to a zit on Irvins a**
  2. Kiper is an idiot...no idea how he has not been replaced after all these years. I cant stand listening to him. I remember when Colt McCoy dropped in the draft and he went on an on about it all through the first round, look at Colt now Mel.
  3. Thigoen hasnt shown anything in Blo but Chan did have some good production from him in Kansas City.
  4. he most likely will be cut after preseason, everyone adds kickers and punters in the offseason so there main guys dont wear out there legs. However we cant ignore the fact that both Moorman and Lindell are getting up there in years we do need to keep our options open.
  5. No way we can pay for Jake Long after the Mario Williams signing.
  6. Browns pick with Weeden. 28 year old QB taken in the first round?
  7. Hairston is a better LT then he is....he is a very good guard and a below average LT, lets not toy with that.
  8. As a rookie with no offseason last year he was solid, with a full offseason of coaching and work he can only get better, there is no rookie who will start over him in week one
  9. I think they all turned to cook because Cook is the guy thats done all the leg work on Floyd
  10. As long as the tax increases bring jobs and revenue to the area i'm all for it. 200 mill should out a good number of construction workers to work, which in turn fills hotels, restaurants, bars, stores and strip clubs. However I dont see how NY taxes could possibly get any higher.
  11. #1 OR #2 doesn't matter, Both are on the field pretty much the same amount of snaps. The way a defense matches up and game plans to a specific player will determine who is actually the #1 from week to week. One Receiver may be bigger and more physical allowing him to have more success against a smaller defensive back field so the D will either adjust to provide help in coverage allowing more opportunities for the other receiver, and vice versa if the other receiver can get behind defensive that are more susceptible to the deep ball. You need to good receivers to create these problems. Whoever is listed as a #1 or a #2 is just for paper.
  12. All the way......we're just trying to scratch the surface of the post season, not even looking for a first round bye just a last seed wild card spot.......All the way:beer:
  13. Shouldn't joke about this as a punter taken in the first round would have been more valuable than several of our former first round picks:blink:
  14. Since there on the Bills...how bout "Injured reserve"
  15. In this case they may be right, since Tebow cant throw a pass it eliminates the need to be able to create a pocket, most of what Denver did with him where wild cat, shovel passes, some option, fakes, and misdirection, very rarely did he take a traditional 3 step drop. The Jets offensive line has holes but its not a complete mess, they have a good left tackle and the best center in the league. If David DeCastro falls to them. The plus for us is they still need a RT and whoever that is will be lined up across from Mario Williams.
  16. not releasing him but is contract is almost up.
  17. JP Losman, Leodis McKelvin, Donte Whitner, Willis McGahee
  18. Some boards have Gilmore rated higher than Kirkpatrick
  19. IMHO if we don't retain Freddy then all of our new acquisitions are for nothing, our defense gets that much better and our offense just took a huge blow. With an entire off season there is so much more we can install into our offense with Fred, a wildcat like Miami had with Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown, Formations with Freddy and CJ in the Backfield, motion plays, miss directions etc....I believe not having an entire off season last year limited some of the packages we could through in during the season.
  20. why hasn't any team signed him, including the QB-less Dolphins
  21. I believe the same comments where made about Lee last year. I hope your right and Freddy brings more to the team than Evans did, but there are some similarities, a productive aging vet with a promising youngster in the wake.
  22. Wasn't a starter until week 12 of 2009
