The Draft is just a crapshoot, no science to it, nobody has it mastered. What is certain is that there are only 53 players kept 22 starters and 1 kicker (our case 2), 1 punter, 1 long snapper. That leaves 28 spots to back up positions and cover special teams. I think they start with something like 85 players, you have to keep the players that give you the best chance to win right now. Yes it takes time for rookies to develop but they have to be relied upon for something too. The more talented the roster becomes the probability of keeping a develptmental player goes down. One thing we had the privledge of doing all those years we where desperate of talent we where able to mold a George Wilson, Keep a Freddy Jackson, Watch a small school nobody like Arthur Moats end Favres streak, and on a lesser note develop a jason peters and Demtress Bell. Im sure the front office had intentions on placing some on the practice squad but they have the right to go somewhere where they can compete on the active roster. We are going to lose some talent but where going to find a Scott Chandler here and ther also.

Very true, costly penalties and late starts force us into long 3rd downs and a mountain to climb on a scoreboard. Vince has 1 good run and 1 good pass surrounded by some of the worst quarterbacking ever, he looked like a bad JP losman and Jp losman is already bad. Fitz gives us a chance to win he is better than some of the starters out there he cant make a bad team good but he can play well with a good supporting cast and the players seem to be high on him.

This team is so Jeckyl and Hyde. Kyle Williams and company is going to create havoc and force mistakes and allow our defense to make big plays and turnovers, however our inexperianced corners and lackuster linebackers are going to allow bug plays to be made. Our offense hasnt changed much as far a personel, more familiarity, chemistry, and some additions to the playbook that come with this should help, but the same inconsistancy is involved at time we look very smooth, like a well oiled machine and then the clutch falls out or a belt frays and we find ourselves with a mess on our hands. Thats what keeps bringing us back is that we have no idea what we have. Uncertain Optimism. This team is a crapshoot everyweek and I love it.

He kept Corey Mac and Dorin Dickerson and ditched half of our wideouts, plus bringing in David Lee to further implement the wildcat. Our strength with no question should be the running game. Is Chan going in that direction?? time will tell.

it makes more sense to draft a guy that went undrafted if he can make the team than to draft a guy and cut him because he didnt make the team. In assuming that he went undrafted so we should have signed him is incorrect because if you do not draft that undrafted player then that undrafted player has no exclusive rights placed on him by your franchise giving the undrafted player freedom to sign elsewhere.

We beat ourselves up on this board determining who stays at WR, evidently we where all wrong in the fact they where canning all WR's under debate. Perhaps Chan feels we are better by spreading CJ or Freddy outwide than we are to have kept any of those wideouts or we are going to see some formations with corey mac finally.

Ironically other teams have seen us as an easy part of their scedule. If we can keep our IR list below 10 we may be ok.

Cordy looks good...Ill hold judgement off until the regular season where the intensity is a higher and defenses start scheming stunts and blitzes arounf him and he keeps Fitz upright.

Cutting Brad Smith is not going to happen, while he hasnt shown much in a Bills Jersey he is an emergency QB, WR, and KR. Generally the #3 qb is fairly useless anyway if the position is decimated by injuries that much generally a verteran Free Agent is signed and unless its the 1 and 8 billion chance that your #3 is Tom Brady your season is pretty much a wash at that point anyhow,

Im not so sure Easley gets cut,(not including Stevie) besides graham our WR's have done little this preseason, Last night Easley did something, It may have not been as a WR but it was a big play, he has a big upside. He stayed on the roster this long without playing, now that he is actually healthy It doesnt seem right to cut him or place him on the practice squad to keep another player that doesnt bring anything more to the table than he does and mosr likely will still be a free agent if injuries do occur during the season.
