Rex warns Bills to be ready for Tebow
Pirate Angel replied to Stevie Ray's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty stupid game plan since Sanchez usually looks like Joe Montana against the Bills. Chan should tell him that we are going to use Kelsay alot since Kelsay looked like Bruce Smith against Tebow last year luckily chans not a buffoon -
Somebody tell Fitz he didn't get the memo...

Chan really doesnt have a choice....2 very good running backs and an O-line that is full of maulers instead of finesse pass protectors. -
Is there room for Roosevelt?
Pirate Angel replied to Logical Reasoning's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No sense in keeping him on the practice squad...someone will pick him up as he is better than some #4 and #5 wrs on other rosters. -
8/1 Camp Report (from Buffalo Rumblings)
Pirate Angel replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure if Jasper goes to the practice squad this year, seems like they gave him a year to groom himself and he still looks lost its most likely time to use the practice squad spot on someone else. Chans big on versatility so if he's struggling at one position its unlikely that he can play another. It would have been a great story and maybe its not over..I wish him well. -
just got it for $150 bucks....im fairly content with that

I firmly believe this must be it for Fitz
Pirate Angel replied to Toshiero's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes lets part ways with him when we have absolutely zero replacements for him, and there will likely be no prospects as good as him. I'll admit that at one time I pulled for Edwards over Fitz and I, like you, was very wrong. I'm for bringing in competition or a prospect but this man has the locker room, the coaching staff, and hell most of us cant help but pull for him. You dont part ways with your best player even if he is average unless your sure you can replace or improve with him or if he is aging or wants some crazy contract. -

Sweetest words I've heard out of Training Camp
Pirate Angel replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I played football for a long time and never have I not seen a defense dominate the first practices... they have much less to incorporate, sure the defenses get more complex and schemes are more advanced but its still knowing your responsibility - pin your ears back and go..move and react. The offense has to become in sync, get there timing down, know what the man next to him is doing, get the cadence down, and the playbook has much more to incorporate. -
should we make a play for Mike Wallace
Pirate Angel replied to The Tomcat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz isn't a deep ball QB, nor does he extend the play the way that Roethlisberger does which gives him more time to use his speed to get open. He is the traditional player that has had a good season in a system that fits him perfectly and wants to cash out on it, he will be much less productive elsewhere. -
Ahh, the sweet smell of vindication...
Pirate Angel replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His fan support directly reflects his on the field performance, he plays well against weaker teams and is ineffective against better competition. In half the games so see a very solid Chris Kelsey ( not counting him as a LB)...and he disappears most of the time against top teams ( When we need him to play well against the Pats its almost like he is not on the field). Finally he is going to be used as he should, A situational player and excellent Depth. As a full time starter I could take him or leave him but if Mario, Anderson, and Merriman are unable to preform at sometime in the season I am very happy to have Chris Kelsay on the roster. -
Bills Want To Scrimmage Other Teams
Pirate Angel replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its just a practice against fresh meet... they do 7 on 7s and some other drills...no scout teams we run our playbook and they run theirs. Gives the players somebody different to run into other than themselves. -
What would you do if.....

Brad Smith..Why is his spot supposedly safe?
Pirate Angel replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand what your saying, he seems below average at everything. But he saves roster spots, by having a guy that can supposedly play QB, WR, KR we can keep an 2 other players. A 3rd string QB is relatively useless anyhow, usually if it comes to that steam ends up signing a old vet off the street and your season is pretty much shot anyway. Smith was effective in the wildcat while on the Jets and Chan blames the lack of an offseason for not using it more, and he seems to like just having the wildcat formation in the playbook simply for the fact that it adds another wrinkle to the opposing teams planning. Now we have david lee who supposedly implemented the scheme with Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown in Miami. If you want to see someone cut to resign players look at the 33 year old Kelsay, Dwan Edwards, or Spencer Johnson. -
Winning.....Winning solves everything, winning brings in more money, a larger fan base. If we continue to be mediocre than our franchise becomes more and more expendable. Green Bays situation is similar and is anybody questioning them leaving the area?,,,no because they have a wining organization that creates a strong fan base. Do I want a bunch of bandwagon half witted fans pulling for my team?...hell no! but its money to the bills.

Still very circumstantial, He didnt say give me my money because I broke Brett Favres leg and we placed wagers. It most likely is that but not enough proof, he could be talking about a new contract or money for groceries for all we know. They should just hang the coaching staff out to dry for letting it happen and encouraging it, they are in charge and could of nipped it in the but. They should be held accountable...not a bunch of 20 year olds. They direct evidence against the players is very week.
