Totally unrelated but I have a funny story about the time I met Jim Kelly. I was maybe 6 or 7 years old and my Dad told me we were going to meet some of the Bills players (My Dad's friend worked for the Jim Kelly foundation I think) Anyway Bruce Smith was my favorite player, so naturally I assumed I would be meeting him and when we got to the office, here comes Jim Kelly and only Jim Kelly. Well I was upset and really mad at my Dad because I wanted to meet Bruce and he wasn't here. So then came the photo op. My brother and sister and our friends lined up with Jim but I wouldn't. So Jim Kelly chased me down a hallway and tried to get me to come and take a picture with him but I just kept running away, despite my Dad explaining to me I would seriously regret this (Which I do). Anyway a few days later a box showed up at my house with a signed football inside and a note that said "(Captain), No one every ran away from me when we tried to take a picture. I hope this makes you feel a little better. - Jim Kelly Still have that football. Always wanted to ask him if he remembered that.

I was thinking the same thing. They werent doing anything crazy out of the ordinary offense wise. Just up-tempo all game, on a national stage. Hence the attention. I saw tons of ways to break the offense. That quick chop block the offense was doing for the quick passes? This was to keep the D lines hands down and so Vick could get the pass off quick. If the receivers are pressed at the line and can't get off right away, Vick is gonna get pounded every single play. How will he hold up?

We We can't just PUP him guys. He wpould have to had fail his physical and since he passed and was put on the active roster its either IR or inactive. Football is a business and Byrd's long term livilhood is at stake. Of course I want him out there, but honestly I can't blame him for being upset with the Bills FO. They have a track record of bad contracts, bad business and undervaluing players. Greer, Winfield, Pat Williams, Fletcher, Peters... I could go on for days. Meanwhile guys like Fitz and Kelsey get big money contracts and fail to live up to them. Byrd has what 27 Turnovers the last few years? One of the best tacklers on the team and consistent performers week in and week out? If it was me, and they told me to prove it, again. I'd be pretty pissed too.

Also NE has been running a very similar offense for two years now. They practice it often
