You are honestly saying you are ok with Orton taking on Rodgers, Wilson, Kaep, Manning, Brady, Rivers, Brees in the playoffs? The rules are basically set up for QBs to run wild and put up gaudy numbers. A journeyman backup doesn't win us a championship and I'd be shocked if we won a playoff game. After watching Fitz try his hardest for 3 years you think this board would have caught on. The Pats* are not going away. The put up 40+ against a very good defense last week. The demise of the Pats* has been wildly exaggerated.

If Orton is our starter for more than this year and next we have a serious problem. We don't have the 85 bears defense here and its a QB driven league. Ask Rex Ryan what not having a franchise QB does to the rest of your team. If the Bills are done with EJ they need to be searching for a replacement to KO soon. Assuming we catch lighting in a bottle is why we haven't sniffed the playoffs since I was in elementary school.

I didn't see much wrong with EJ's reads ever just not putting the ball where it needed to be. I still think they pulled him early Orton made the same reads and delivered good passes more often than not. But from what i saw (I only had time to break down the 1st quarter) he left plays out there that could have been big plays. Regardless of who is under center, more production is needed there

Yup if the Bills had lost this game and laser pointing caused a missed FG, I'm sure Marrone and Whaley and Brandon would have been all over the NFL about this

I expect him to get interviews but I think Seattle is going to get raided for HC candidates next year. I could see a Hue Jackson type getting a second chance. Todd Bowles, Ray Horton could be hot commodities too. I expect Miami, Raiders, Jets, Browns (I mean its been a while since they fired someone) to be open. Jags could be but I would be surprised. More and more teams are leaning towards offensive coaches too I'm sure he will get calls, but he's got amazing talent right here that he will likely stay unless its a great option. The Jets will be next years Browns, unable to fill that role unless Idzik is fired too
