  1. Good lord he makes Doug look like a genius
  2. I've been trying to get a job in Buffalo for 3 years. Anyone need a young whipper snapper with a shiny new masters degree to work for them?
  3. I feel bad for the Jags. They had a terrible offense and fixed it by adding staff from the Bills and Raiders
  4. Really? He took the Rams and the freaking Cardinals to the Super Bowl. Won an MVP and orchestrated some of the best offenses ever assembled (without cheating)
  5. In what way? I hate statements like that "He's different so he must be better"
  6. Chase Daniel would be an underwhelming but it wouldn't be the worst option. I think he has enough promise to warrant consideration. I'll have to watch his two starts to get a better idea of him
  7. I read somewhere the Bills were trying to keep him. Maybe he is getting a new title, Passing game coordinator?
  8. Yup^ I drink coffee maybe 3 times a week and its usually if someone makes it for me. Its called getting some sleep!
  9. My new years resolution was to eliminate one bad food habit each month. I got the idea after I decided I was done drinking soda last September and said "I will not drink another for the rest of the year" Besides the one time at a movie I was choking on popcorn I did. I felt so much better after three months of not drinking soda. I would get those packets of iced tea usually if I needed something sweet at my office. I'm really glad I did it. Now a soda tastes so sweet to me, I just can't drink it This month I cut out bacon, next month I haven't decided yet but I might do fast food.
  10. I've read Enders Game a few times too. Its a really cool story. I want to read the Hobbit again and the LOTR series. Ive seen Dune in here a few times. I can't remember if I read that in high school or not. Killer Angels I've read as well. That was a fantastic story
  11. #Bountygate2.0 In all seriousness tho its not a huge deal. Dumb to say, but if a guy has an injury, I would look to exploit and see if he can hold up
  12. I watch Manziel's only complete start on the all-22 last night. I've never seen a QB so unprepared for the speed of the game. Early on he had a clean pocket if he had just stepped up and Josh Gordon was running a deep dig with no safety help. If he had stepped up and thrown a pass straight 20 yards it could have been a TD. Instead he stepped back, then forward and dove for a 2 yard gain and they were forced to punt. Really bad field awareness Later on he was getting pressured. Again clean pocket if he steps up and lets the rush go by him, but he stepped back and tried to dodge them and was pulled down. $$$$ This guy crumbles when there is pressure. He looks like he panics, instead of being calm and sliding in the pocket. Kid plays sandlot football. It doesn't work at this level It honestly looked he hadn't practiced all season or knew how a protection scheme works. For a first round pick, thats inexcusable. Add in the multiple reports of this guy not showing up to practice or meetings on time, and generally being a "100 percent joke." I'm gonna throw this stone away.
  13. I played with a torn PCL once. Hurt to walk after some practices. Couldn't drive home one day because it hurt so bad. In hindsight Not my best decision as it was high school football
  14. He's never throw for 300 yards
  15. Keep in mind he lost out to Josh McCown twice this season
  16. I don't see it either. He looks small and erratic. Cannot see him sticking
  17. Missed this thread oops Go Seahawks! The lesser of two evils!
  18. I'm looking for a new book to read as I find myself returning to the same one for big transitions in life (I just finished grad school). For my its the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Lots of good lessons in this story that I've related to differently at different points in my life. What books have you read multiple times? Any good recommendations?
  19. Between soft balls, "I'm just here so I won't get fined" and physics lessons, the NFL talking heads have omitted the fact there is a Super Bowl game on Sunday Simple topic, who wins and why? Add a score if you wish I'm going Seattle 24 to 22 Gostowski misses a FG to lose it
  20. Can't for the NFLN and ESPN to actually examine the game instead of deflated balls and bad soundbites
  21. Dear Pats*, I'm sorry. Sorry we called you out again for cheating and thus making it harder for Billy and Tommy to win that 4th Super Bowl. I know you have the greatest dynasty ever. I'm sure you would have smoked Jimmy Johnson's Cowboys in the 90s by kicking 12 FGs Also !@#$ you Sincerely, Captain Hindsight
  22. I think he just got hurt again too
  23. They shouldn't have tried to use it in the first place. Pats* fans are dumb but the rest of the world studied science
