Need some help with a "casting" question
Captain Hindsight replied to theesir's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I have one and it works pretty well. Only issues is sometimes when it forgets my phone or Ipad (but I think thats more my antiquated phone and ipad than the chromecast) Works with most apps and to me the quality is great -
Chuck Pagano went to an AFC championship game because he had Luck. I think Reich is going to be a good HC, but lets not act like having one of the best players at the most important position isnt a huge advantage I dont think Reich would be successful here. He is viewed as a savior to some due to the comeback game. Feel like people would always be expecting miracles out of him and it wouldnt be fair

Bills Release P Colton Schmidt
Captain Hindsight replied to BigBuff423's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
House money and Darr will practice about 500 times this week. Not at all concerned about the holding Darr has done it before and I'm sure he can figure it out by Sunday -
My bet is: Lewis McCarthy Harbaugh (Mutual Parting) Bowles Wilkes (Arizona is horrendous) Koetter Gase Marrone - This would be the most shocking but that team has completely lost its way and its about to hit salary cap hell. Coughlin would be wise to cut bait and give someone with an actual plan besides some quitter.

I may have been wrong about McCaffrey

Would you rather be the 3-7 Bills or 3-7 Jags?
Captain Hindsight replied to KingRex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No they didn't https://www.turfshowtimes.com/2016/9/3/12787150/2016-los-angeles-rams-official-53-man-roster-week-1-released Goff was awful his rookie year and Keenum was a better version of AJ McCaron at the time. Besides Gurly and the Dline, that team was bad 2017 brought in: Woods Cupp Watkins John Sullivan Andrew Whitworth 45% of the offensive starters in one offseason -

Ever heard of the Rams? -
I thought this was Allen's best game. Some of his throws were incredible. That pass to Foster was a laser he had a few others that just made you go "Whoa" He runs well, his teammates seem to love him. Hes always fired up and hes got a cannon. I think he has a legit chance to be an excellent QB. I'm very excited for the future

Not saying he is playing all world right now. He looks good to me. As others have mentioned, the line and running game have sucked this year. Much like the eagles last year, everything went right. This year, more struggles and its showing. I still think I'd do the deal for cousins than hope Keenum does it again. Itd be like hoping Matt Barkley suddenly becomes who he was at USC as a junior after sucking for 6 years
-
Any GM worth their salt is gonna take a chance on Cousins over a guy like Keenum Keenum was a great story and played out of his mind last year, but to expect him to repeat it was assuming a lot. Hes a solid player, but hes more Fitz than Brees. Cousins isnt perfect, but I trust him to be more consistent for a few years than Keenum.

Has anyone here ever met Doug Marrone?
Captain Hindsight replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have the same record right now and the same number of playoff appearances since he took over in Jax They gave him a 3 year contract extension this offseason.... -
Why does everyone seem to want to keep the Ferrari in the garage? Everyone just assumes Allen will come out ad struggle. Maybe he will. What if he comes out and plays well? What if he puts up 30 points against Jacksonville? What if he wins 4 games in a row? If The Bills started Barkley and he plays like Barkley has in recent years, the Bills still wont make the playoffs and the Bills will be no closer to knowing if Allen is a cornerstone to build around If healthy, you play Allen. There is no reason not too other than people being afraid he wont be good.

The Tasom Hill Effect
Captain Hindsight replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's a better Brad Smith (who is no dummy). Slightly worse than John Skelton But hes not a trend, hes a gimmick -
Ed Oliver won't be a Buffalo Bill

Jordan Philips was cut for getting into a fight with coaches in Miami. Bills claimed him right away McDermont wants people who love football. To me, that is far more important. He can handle some attitudes -
Bills vs. Jets Postgame and Bye Week News
Captain Hindsight replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought the Jets had a better chance with McCown honestly. Darnold has looked like a rookie the last few weeks and this defense would have eaten him alive. McCown has seen more, thought he could handle more. Turns out the both suck -
McyD a coach of the year candidate?
Captain Hindsight replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh I totally agree. I also think the Bills match up well against those teams, so I wouldnt be shocked if they went on a run here. Especially with this defense, gives them a shot each week Pats game will be tough, but they played them very hard on MNF. If DA could have mustered any offense, they could have won that game -

Last 6 opponents Jacksonville Tarps (3-6) Dolphins (5-5) x2 Jets (3-7) Lions (3-6) Pats* (7-3) 4 of those games are at home Not exactly murderers row here. Legitimately could see them finish 8-8 if Allen plays adequate football. That would be pretty impressive considering 5 of the 10 games so far have been started by players who were recently out of the NFL or are currently out of the NFL -
Josh Allen starts week 12 but shows no growth....

Maybe we should work on finding a starter first ? -

What good does it do to play Barkley more? Find out he is still a capable backup? Allen can do things and make throws that Barkley simply cannot. He gives the best chance to win and its not close Its not like Josh was an unmitigated disaster when he was playing. Rough at times, but brilliant at others. I didn't think he was a liability. He looked raw but with incredible talent. He starts every game he is healthy enough to play
