  1. This is kind of my point. Are the Jets done with Darnold, but want to hold his value. So he's "hurt" while they go with Flacco
  2. I put benched in quotes since he has an shoulder injury, but it seems to me the Jets have decided to move on, and so has Darnold From the article - "Darnold, too, sounds different than a month ago. While expressing a desire to play and be with teammates, he said Monday, "I've got to think about me. Me injuring my right shoulder, it's definitely tough to kind of weigh all the options of what I can do. You start thinking about [it] in terms of just longevity and how I can further injure the shoulder. From where we're at right now with it, it's a good decision to be able to give it another week to heal up."" https://www.espn.com/blog/new-york-jets/post/_/id/84922/sudden-fall-jets-sam-darnold-goes-from-savior-to-potential-trade-chip Just reading the tea leaves here, is Gase trying to win games so he is going with the veteran vs the guy he didnt draft? Is Darnold done as a jet and this "injury" going to linger for the rest of the year?
  3. A soon to be 500 team playing hardball with one of their best players? This should have FAs flying in the door!
  4. Saw something on twitter, where a Jags fan was asking Bears, packers and Lions fans to vote for Yannick Ngakoue so the Jags get a better draft pick from the initial trade
  5. Personally, I love that a guy like Yeldon is our emergency back He can step right in and be effective. There is no learning curve. This is huge for things like blitz pickup. Say we lose Moss or Singletary and have to put in Christian Wade. Defense does some fancy stunt, Wade reads it wrong and Josh gets slammed to the turf. If you have a vet waiting in the wings, this is far less likely.
  6. You talk tough now, let see you when you get to the zoo
  7. Is Dawson Knox playing so bad he is now the mascot?
  8. They've been more effective on IR than on the field
  9. Odd, I feel good about the roster he's constructed
  10. The perfect combination of charisma and poise is really the only answer here.
  11. Its actually really nice to be discussing a second contract with a legit franchise QB instead of convincing ourselves that some teams backup has a chance to stabilize the position for us
  12. I was 5 years old. The Super Bowl after the 93 season is the first one I remember watching
  13. And a high point for Rex. He was such a clown
  14. Uh oh, BIG night so far!
  15. You got some stupid friends
  16. Take the under!
  17. I'm Bills Mafia, and I'm all out of tables
  18. Look no further than the LA Chargers. That team is super talented, has a great young QB, but they never get "bailed out" The line between good and bad in the NFL is so thin. It comes down to coaching, and preparation Except for the Jets. They just suck
  19. Me too. Prime time game against a bad team? This is just the kind of game the Jets get amped up for. I have a feeling the final nail in the coffin comes tonight
  20. Not even Hasselbeck, It was Matt Flynn! Although Pete Carroll deserves a ton of credit for going with a 3rd round rookie over Flynn who he had signed for 20 million
  21. I wish I had that luxury. Tragically, my super powers only give me the benefit of perfect hindsight
  22. I mean, we could use another corner....
  23. I need to know where PFF ranked him
