I’d give the Raiders even less of a chance than the Panthers, but sometimes crazy things happen when division rivals play.

I'm not counting out Cincinnati either, although their schedule, which includes two games vs. the Steelers, makes that unlikely.

My hatred for the Dolphins is stoked by the fact that every year they are drenched in adulation from the national media, and every year it turns out the same way. I’ll also never forget that 100 degree game a couple years ago, where they stuck us in the sun all afternoon.

It sounds like Williams did not know they had a TO so he dialed up a deep ball, thinking they had to score on that play…none of it makes much sense. Williams has a lot of talent but he needs a coach who’s going to hold him accountable and start all over with him, if necessary.

Yeah, as bad as Miami has looked at at times, I don’t like playing a division opponent in the playoffs…too much familiarity, and it would be a kitchen sink game for Miami…

Williams admitted that he changed the play…I just saw that on NFL.com. He deserves more blame than Eberflus, but the HC is ultimately responsible.

I want to know what happened on the play before, where two Lions defenders went totally unblocked in a situation where you absolutely cannot under any circumstances give up a sack.

Well they did want to save the timeout, and if Williams was checking out of the play…he probably realized too late what was happening.

There are three wild cards available. Right now the Chargers, Broncos and whoever finishes second in the AFCN have the inside track. But there are still a ton of games left and literally millions of scenarios. (Last year the Bills were 6-6 at this point.) I’m not convinced that both the Broncos and Chargers will get to 10 wins. It’s even possible that the second place AFCN team ends up with less than 10 wins because their schedules are BRUTAL. If Miami runs the table (unlikely but possible) I can’t see them not getting in, and who knows what the tiebreakers look like. Unlike some here, I would much rather play Denver or the Chargers than Miami in the first round.

I never assume that an NFL coach actually knows who the best quarterback is on his own team, especially in Daboll’s case. I give Tomlin a ton of credit for benching Fields…
