It will be interesting. Even if Fields is available, I suspect the Dolphins won’t be able to resist taking Chase or Sewell. They probably want to see how Tua does with better weapons—although IMO he had some pretty good ones this year. Maybe they use one of their second round picks on a QB...
Not out of the question. We don’t know how they truly feel about Tua in that building, or whether they are willing to admit their mistake this early in the process. It will be interesting to see if they re-sign Fitz.
Ethan, I certainly understand that argument, and Tua can certainly improve, but he’s not going to get any bigger or faster, and his arm strength is what it is. He looks like a career backup with low ceiling.
What’s funny is that all the solid rebuilding moves the Fish have made will be for naught if they picked the wrong QB—and it certainly looks like they did.
Chris Simms had the same opinion about Tua before the draft...had him ranked below Love. The guy looks like a very low ceiling player. I cannot for the life of me understand why the Fins did not take Justin Herbert.
Not saying you’re wrong, but how do you know this?
Pure speculation. No one knows who’s in the lead in the MVP race. For all we know, Allen’s in the lead and Rodgers is the one who needs to have a big game to catch up...
To me, the deciding factor is that Josh Allen has, almost singlehandedly, turned around a moribund, losing franchise into one of the top three teams in football. As great as they are, neither Rodgers nor Mahomes can say that.
There are already plenty of “control groups” out there: lots of college and NFL stadia have allowed varying numbers of fans this year. What does the evidence show? I’m just asking...do you know?
