Reminds me of a lot of Bills games during the drought. Defense plays its heart out for a half or so, but just can’t hang on after having to go back out there again and again, after endless 3-and-outs.
-
In fairness, he’s had some good games. He looks absolutely hopeless tonight, though. Eagles’ defense is about to give up the ghost. They can’t hold on much longer.
-
This game is more proof that there are two kinds of teams in this league: the ones that have a Quarterback and the ones that don’t. And the latter type is rarely going to beat the former.

The Bucs have no healthy DBs left; how is it possible that there’s no one to throw to? Hurts has Carson Wentz disease. Maddening, isn’t it?

No PI, I guess

Matt Milano #hammywatch - update - officially off the injury report
mannc replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's not the way it works. If Milano can play, he'll play Monday night. -
Every team has injuries every week. The Titans' injury list this week doesn't look much better...Jones questionable, dupree questionable, saffold questionable, fuller questionable, punter is out, etc...And of course the Jets had plenty of injuries that week too. Fortunately, very few TSW contributors will be suiting up for the Bills Monday night...

They. Lost. To. The. Jets.

As I said above, it's highly unlikely that Gruden just walked into Davis's office and said "I quit." There was undoubtedly a negotiation. I have not seen Gruden's contract, but it's unlikely that emails Gruden sent 10 years ago as a private citizen would have given Davis a clear-cut basis to terminate him for cause. Hence, Gruden probably had significant leverage in the negotiations and probably walked away with a nice "severance package."

Exactly

It’s a nearly meaningless stat. Mac Jones: 71.1 % completion percentage for the year.
-
I’d have to actually see the contract, but Gruden likely had plenty of leverage. Things would have been worse for the Raiders if he had decided to tough it out, like Urban Meyer seems to be doing. And my point is, his “resignation” was negotiated; he didn’t just walk into Davis’s office and say “I quit.”
-
It will never be public, but it’s highly unlikely that Gruden just resigned without being paid a significant amount of the money that would have been due. If the Raiders had fired him, he probably would have had a good argument that they were on the hook for the remaining six years. And the way the team is going this year, Gruden would have been on the hot seat anyway after the season. So Davis probably ends up saving a lot of $, even though he’s paying out $10 million or so in “severance”.

But social media is entirely different than private emails. Anytime you post something on social media, you’re posting it to the world (although some social media accounts are “private”, i.e. open only to a select group.)….much greater expectation of privacy associated with an email sent to one person, especially if that email is sent from your own private email account, rather than your employer’s account. It is most certainly not the norm for a potential employer to ask to see someone’s private emails. That just doesn’t happen, for a lot of reasons.

I clicked on the link and ended up having to listen to 30 more seconds of Collinsworth…still worth it though.
