  1. I want to see your pick as much as you do.
  2. You're kidding right ? I did see Jarvis Moss as the 15th at some point ?
  3. Jarvis Moss was abducted ! Not that it matters to me.
  4. Kansas City selects geographical favorite, DL Adam Carriker, Nebraska.
  5. Taking advantage of a spooked man... you should be ashamed of yourself. Kansas City preparing to pick 16th.
  6. Sorry for the delay... the run on big people has spooked me. Make it Jolly and we have a deal.
  7. Wow, what a gimme'... AP for me too.
  8. Kansas City is willing to give up its first (23) and second (55) to move up to 15, provided Green Bay tosses is in a depth player like WR Carlyle Holiday or DT Johnny Jolly.
  9. Put me down for Seattle. And a no on Turner.
  10. Thanks, I thought I had that wrong. That extension is a huge point. If they were worried about a McGahee extension, an unknown like Turner isn't going to make them more willing to commit. The pick is cost delayed.
  11. I thought that was a Domanick Williams reference... isn't that what Domanick Rhodes is going by these days ?
  12. What, no Anthony Hargrove utility love ? Didn't desperation drive him inside for a few snaps ? Me and Ralph have seen these guys -- that's why there's fevered huddling in lobbys for Peter King to "report" on. I almost wish this was a cruel April Fools joke.
  13. Meh, I won't be surprised. This technique stuff is great and I love the rotation idea but 3rd and short is what it is. Being on the field for 17 or 18 minutes in the second half, bending but not breaking was what it was most of last year. The position has to be upgraded -- McCargo and Walker and fingers crossed might not be enough (for Ralph).
  14. Wanna' bet that Jauron's answer to Ralph was "we will stop them with safeties " ? With improvements in scheme ? He is a secondary coach at heart -- a very coachable position, one that the coaches' management and control makes a real impact. Levy is probably still at heart more a coach than GM. Big people being knocked off the line of scrimmage is not a coaching problem... it's not usually a problem that you think your way out of. The logjam at DT is a terrible box to be in if they really can't play. Passing on Branch or Okoye would be awful in that case.
  15. His nature. I have known some truly odd people who fold nicely into roles, who take comfort in the complex ritual nature of what they do and get along very well. (think Ricky at Texas) When asked to, these people can be exceptionally high achievers (if they have the talent) -- they're in the "doing what must be done" buisness. The roadblocks are the usual human problems -- other people, separation from the role and in Ricky's case especially, reintegration into the role. It just got harder for him to return, year after year. He didn't wig out as much as he faded out. And for the last time, NO I DON'T MANAGE A BONDAGE DUNGEON !
  16. Very, very nice picture... and you with your camera flash in all the shiny bits !
  17. Only because of its heartbreaking truth.
  18. My bad. I had it confused with Magic: The Gathering. Sounds like a tin foil hat might come in handy. Do tell, Sparky.
  19. Beyond that, Women's Golf. 18 year old red a** Morgan Pressel has won the Kraft Nabisco Championship, an LPGA major. Take that, Michelle Wie.
  20. " Requires Tin Bar (99), Fused Wiring (4), Troll Tears (8), Heavy Leather (4), Star Ruby. " This is still a card game, yes ? Not an online SIM or lifestyle choice scavenger hunt ?
  21. We got shafted IIRC. Vitus Gerulatis was supposed to be the centerpiece of the Buffalo Toronto Royals but we ended up with doubles specialists.
  22. That's a nice catch as far as I'm concerned -- if they don't link it to the front of TBD, I'm not going to see it. It's properly freewheeling as blogs should be and Michael Turner free from what I saw.
  23. I have run across nearly a half dozen. Not to call shenanigans on the numbers, but 4 times in the last 10 years the first running back off the board has fallen to 12 or beyond. It is possible that this is one of those weak classes.
  24. The clank is both the jarring oddity that gives one pause, and the key in the door. If it is a straight forward reference, well, I just don't want that piece of communication smuggled in and wrapped in jazz sophistication. Hell, Meat Loaf gives me over the top theatrics, a female counterpoint, and freakin' baseball with that message. Now there's your full service entertainment...
  25. Strangely (or not), an overtime tie won't get you the push. 3 and half or 4 and a half won't get you your money back. I hope HA has taken this into account.
