  1. So I guess that means that they should throw less than 30 times a game. Taylor 8-1 Brady 75- 22 Seems like we have a future hall of farmer if we use Brady as a benchmark.
  2. That's a big part of it. In the same time span Miami has only been to the playoffs once.
  3. Get well soon Bill. For too Many Sunday's your post has been the best part of the day.
  4. You can also look at the number of pass attempts and yards/attempt. Teams have passed more against the bills than any other team. And they are tied with the 4th lowest yards/attempt at 6.4. So if teams pass more against you, you are likely going to give up more yards. And the bills are 4th best in opponent pass completion % at 57.3. So not so bad.
  5. You can try using a VPN service to connect to the Internet. Then directv thinks you are at the location of the vapn provider which will be outside the stadium. I've used it in the past using my work vpn.
  6. Which packers? '73 - '88 Packers who had one winning season(8-7-1) excluding the strike year. I think we are exactly like them. Or the '93-today Packers who have the QB's.
  7. Week 8 - Bills @ Jets win Week 10 - KC @ Buff win Week 11 - Bills @ Fish win Week 12 - Jets @ Bills win Week 13 - Browns @ Bills win Week 14 - Bills @ Denver loss Week 15 - Packers @ Bills win Week 16 - Bills @ Oakland win Week 17 - Bills at NE* loss
  8. He has a 10.38 best in the 100m in 2008. A 10.38 time could have moved him out of the initial heats depending on which one he was in, so I would say that qualifies as Olympic speed. He wouldn't have made the US team, but would have been the best on many of the other teams.
  9. Thank you Mr. Wilson. fior all the memories. Your loyalty to Buffalo will always be remembered. RIP
  10. This might add more excitement as it creates a situation where the possibility of tackling the return guy before he gets to the 20 increases. Let's say the kicker is good neigh to kick it high and the ball lands at the goal line. The ball would travel 60 yards. And take about 3 seconds as an estimate. So in this 3 seconds, the kickoff team should be able to get about 25 yards down filed to the opponents 35. So when the returner receives the ball he is 20 yards from the 20 and the kickoff team is about 15 yards. I realize there are lots of other variables in play like blocking schemes, but a good coordinator can figure this out.
  11. The Bills are 40-60 (40%) when he plays and 9-19 (32.1%) when he doesn't play. So if we are going to assign the whole teams W/L to him, then they are a better team when he is in the game.
  12. If it has become too automatic, it means at some point it wasn't too automatic. So Roger must address what has changed. The hashmark, distance and width haven't changed recently although they did move the posts to the back of the end zone many years ago. The kicking teams have become better, so that must be addressed. Have the kickers kick with their non-dominant leg. That would make it more difficult.
  13. Even Better if you select Defensive Rank as the criteria on who wins, then we win the division as the #3 seed!
  14. We are just like Gren Bay. After their first 2 SB wins and prior NFL Championships wins, they only had 2 playoff appearances over the next 25 years. With many of them being really poor years. We just have to wait until our upturn comes in another 12 years.
  15. I also noticed it, so I decided to check some stats. While its early in the year, fre and CJ are leading the leagure with the most fumbles by RBs with 3 each. Luckily thy haven't lost them, but while early, it does seem to be something to be concerned with. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/stats/byposition?pos=RB&conference=NFL&year=season_2013&sort=47&timeframe=ToDate
  16. If I had both of them on the bench, I would pick bledsoe. After watching them both play and understanding both their limitations, it would be an easy choice for me. The only scenario I would want fitz is if our online was just so bad that we had to rely on the qb running to save his life. Fitz would have a better chance of survival.
  17. I think if he gifts the team to his children, than he would only pay the 35% tax rate if its done this year. The children would then have the asset at the current value and would only have to pay capital gains on the difference of value when they sell. So on a team worth ~800 Million, the savings would be ~160 Million dollars. So he could gift the team to his kids with the understanding that they should sell it when he passes. He can then be hired in a role which has ultimate control of the team assuming his children go by his wishes. Or they can appoint someone else to be in charge, but he still is the master who ultimately tells what the team should do. His kids can always fire people if they do not do what Ralph wants. I'm just speculating here, but it seems feasible to save a ton of money.
  18. .... For opposing quarterbacks. And to think many people wanted Maybin to add more mass.
  19. Why do you even need to go up to the booth. Just have some refs at NFL HQ that do all the reviews. They don't even have to be assigned to a particular game. They can get the replay info initially without the down/distance/time/score so they canmake a call just based on the play. Then they can fix down/distance/time/score after they determine the right call.
