Giants prepared to release CB Bradberry (now released)
ddaryl replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall
They really won't know till the camp starts and they see him perform... I wouldn't call it a confidence thing but more of an insurance thing. -

Josh Allen's best throws from his first 4 years (video)

I didn't get the chance to watch it all, but in hindsight you can really See that Josh's game really hasn't changed much outside the fact he honed his skills and got better in the pros. Watching highlight films before any player gets drafted makes them look All-Pro, but in this case, now that the transition has been made, you can clearly see college Josh and NFL Josh play the same game Now lets go watch a highlight reels of Rosen or other highly rated QB's that couldn't transition to the NFL. SO hard to tell who really has it and who doesn't... Lots of people will claim they always knew, but did they really? -

You can never have enough quality CB's in todays NFL. I agree if Bradberry wants to play for a ring it would be a major coup if we can squeeze him in for a 1 year deal... -

Captain Check down was another.

Wasn't so much Dallas taking the pick as it was whom Dallas might of traded down with. Every team knew Buffalo wanted a CB and jumping in front of Buffalo was the concern

I'm a daily baker myself.. How does that work in todays NFL.. is it ok?

|Yeah he (James Cook) looked like a tired Father who has been up all night trying to take care of his child.

I have to say, with a name like Herbig, you know he is all about the bass about the bass... No Treble
-
There was a scouting report or 2 that mentions his tackling and playing soft....

I agree coaching caused us some issues, but there is no way anyone knows for sure if we would of won the SB... Yes the odds go up and we had a team capable, but there is no way anyone could make such a statement with certainty. We could also say the piss poor early season OL play/Running Game cost us home field advantage and could of been even a greater reason why we did not make it to and win the SB. That blame can be put on a lot of places Coaches FO and players

I would bring in every FA IOL I could if they represent a possible upgrade to someone already on our roster. Just because we signed some FA's doesn't mean we stop kicking tires. If Beane, McD, and Kroger say he is a possible upgrade then I suspect they'll sign sed player. If they don't sign him then he wasn't an upgrade in their minds

I think Greg Rousseau becomes an elite pass rusher in 2022
ddaryl replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think we saw some upside mixed in with a very young rookie cutting his teeth. If I remember correctly lots of "experts" thought we would see more of Basham last year because Boogie was more pro ready then Rousseau but Rousseau ceiling was much higher. I think he takes a solid jump upwards in 2022. -

Sure do hope so. He didn't see the field much early last season -

We all expect improvement and more playing time from Greg Rousseau. He had 4 sacks last year, so I expect with our DL upgrades, and his year of experience, he can double that this year. -

Here's hoping he matches the hype. Will be fun to watch in training camp -
It's why we addressed the DL and OL this off season. Kromer is just a fortunate change because Bobby Johnson chose to stick with Daboll.
-
It does seem like our offense is going to get the Dorsey treatment. They've emphasized pass catching RBs this year. Hopefully the Kromer effect/off-season acquisitions fixes last year's OL debacle.... Those are good thoughts...
-
So the OL is SIngletary's fault or the fact that our Defense had issues stopping the opponents run game You are having some sort of revisionist history. I would not be upset if we draft a RB but the issues plaguing this teams running O and running D had more to do with issues in the OL and DL. Our running game got better when we made changes to our OL late season.

Diggs Extended 4 more years breaking news per WGR 550
ddaryl replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
It could also be that all teams had plenty of game tape of the Diggs Allen combo from the 1st year together and made a few adjustments. We could also site the issues we had with the OL for the 1st half of the season... Then there is Josh Allen, a player who most definitely is very happy and very comfortable Keeping Diggs here, and had some input. Great WR"s have been known to stay very productive into their 30s. I see DIggs as one of those WR's. -
