  1. they can extend him but I believe the Franchise #s are set in stone for this season July 15th was the cut off https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2022/03/07/nfl-franchise-tag-transition-tag-explained/9416155002/
  2. If they cut him we eat 3.25 million. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/oj-howard-21760/ Probably can't trade him I don't hear anyone talking about Sweeney or Morris being solid blockers.... That's what we're looking for in TE#2 Also take PFF with a grain of salt...
  3. I've already chalked it up as a priority heading into the offseason next year But I think Howard is staying because Sweeney hasn't shown much, Morris can be stashed on the PS and hopefully he can do what Sweeney couldn't, get better
  4. The Best QBs can handle the pressure, if not they don't last long. Josh seems to have the it factor, and he seems to enjoy it.
  5. McKenzie and Crowder are slots... Yeah so I guess by #3 I am thinking Outside Diggs and Davis reliever..
  6. I would also accept Goombadi.. We are the Bills Mafia and all...
  7. LOL.. Its a term of endearment and thanks Bud!
  8. Why would we want demote Shakir? Who I view as WR3... He showed way to much to think there's an expensive upgrade on the downside that would play better. I would find ways to get Shakir more touches before blowing stupid money or draft picks on what I view as a downgrade.
  9. Hey Bud. I would like to suggest whenever you make a game day thread could you put the game info/start time and relative info regarding TV/Radio. I always click to check the 1st post for that stuff.
  10. Delusions of Grandeur Exactly... Name a RB that struggled against Denver?
  11. Maybe a 6th or 7th... He's often injured and a bit slow.. I don't see anyone giving up much if anything to acquire him.
  12. Smoke screen IMO... he was in consideration, but I have to beleive Beane wanted a stong arm QB
  13. I'm going to say Watsons absence from the game for such a long time will have an affect (or is effect) and he will not return to his prime I just don't see the mental fortitude to handle the endless in your face finger wagging he will experiece.. If he can brush it all off and not be affected, then I think he is devoid of a soul, conscious, and empathy
  14. In my defense it was pushed to the top when I replied.
  15. I agree here.. .Even punts are not going to be anywhere's close to 100% touchbacks You cannot totally ignore coverage teams, but I can see them going with a young gun or too, I just don't see them letting all there top STs players walk.
  16. I'm surprised at the Haack cut. I thought they would of wanted to see more of Matt in different situations. They must be satisfied by what they see in practice. We know he's got the holding thing down... I really wanted to see what he could do with hangtime and pinning opponents inside the 20 on a shorter field... But lets face it, we were all in on the anyone but Haack movement.
  17. I think will see some starters but I doubt we see many of them...
  18. Well I'm guilty.. No way I'm gonna read 5 pages of replies just to see if my point was already made. I skim though them but usually I'm just focused on the OP's original intent. If somebody quotes something that stick out to me I will jump on that. This quote was a case in point. Did they even throw his way. I thought about this and I don't even remember him being around a pass attemtp. Which tells me he was playing shut down corner level. Against 2nd string but none the less impressive.
  19. Hows does this topic have 7 pages, it should of dropped off the front page a couple hours after it was posted
  20. I agree Blackshear defintely raised some eyebrows.... But like I said above he is not surplanting our top 3 RBs... he's in the conversation for 4th RB spot for sure, but odds are more in favor of PS
  21. I agree with the OP... If Blackshear makes the cut he will be 4th or 5th on the depth chart. Yes Blackshear has shown something against borderline 2nd stringers/3rd stringrers and cut candidates. It may be enough to squeak in those last spots... I do not see the Bills even entertaining the thoughts of ditching Singletary, Moss, or Cook for Blackshear
  22. Routine and random.... all players get them throughout the year. More often if you tested dirty once or more before.
  23. Preseason but we did look good all game
  24. All our RBs looked real good yesterday. I think Cook's gonna do well, how well he does will depend on how he is at helping us get tough yards.
