  1. A lot of were nervous when we selected Allen but most of us accepted it quickly and just hoped for the best. I felt better about the pick when they brought Allen out the 1st time in pre-season and they had him throw the bomb his 1st pass. I knew I had to be patient but I felt something good then. Fast forward to the famous leap against the Vikings and I was sold, add in years of consistent growth and I'm convinced Allen could be one of the All time greats.
  2. twitter is for twits I do appreciate the tweets shared here about camp news but actually using or having a discussion on twitter NO!
  3. Add in the fact there is a pizza wings, sub shop on every corner in WNY, A few generations now have lived this reality. When I was growing up it was a large and small pizza a bucket of wings almost every weekend. Then if I went to B-Day party or Boy scouts or any other event the odds are there was going to be pizza and wings there. Add in that I would go out for Burgers and fries often in between I'm lucky I'm just a type 2 diabetic. I have refined my diet quite well since being diagnosed, but I should of seen it coming. 3 of my 4 Grandparents were type 2 diabetics who had complications. I did learn a lot of what not to do watching them. Too many carbs with saturated fats is a killer, and that's what the American / Western Diet is. Pizza and Wings, Burgers and Fries etc...
  4. It still is perplexing why his strong distance can't be quickly turned into longer hang time. To me it seems as simple as where the point of contact is. Foot meets football low you get more of a distance/low hang time punt. Foot meets the foot ball higher up and you lose some distance but gain hang time I'm not a punter, well I did punt duties the one season I played organized football (age 12), so maybe there is more to it but it almost seems to me that's the difference between distance and hangtime. From there its all about leg strength.
  5. It is a bit perplexing...

  10. You cannot go into game 1 against the LA Rams without the 1st unit in full getting a few series in Completely against sitting Allen all preseason. I'm also against removing preseason games in general.

  14. If Tim Settle and Ed Oliver improve our center DL that has to translate into Edmunds making a few more key plays, add in the pressure from DE's really has to be a career year for him
  15. Bold new world we live in.
  16. I like the charging Buffalo on a Blue helmet concept. I thought it looked real good. I have always preferred the the Red helmet charging buffalo over the white helmet... I really have never liked the grazing standing Buffalo on white
  17. Any player who had the ultimate success playing with one team the year before would have some feelings left on the field for sed team.... I'll judge Von Miller about what he brings to the Bills during this phase of career.
  18. does every stadium thread have to devolve into a ' should of been a dome" thread the train left the station. For many it was absurd to use tax payer money to fund most of the stadium, imagine a dome stadium.... That would of been to hard of a sell on all fronts.
