Cover 1: Josh Allen’s Top 5 Throws from 2021
ddaryl replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
That #1 throw really was a cornucopia of Allen's talents on display. The Escaping of pressure his strength and his size, his ability to keep eyes down field and deliver the throw. Even some of greatest couldn't put that together in one play. If that happens just hit the back button and you can continue to browse the thread. Pain in the ass dealing with it, but that's my work around -
this is not 100% true. The cap comes into play. Not like the fans think is should or did, but it does. The cap does cause some hard decisions. If not then why did the Rams not match offers for Von Miller? They had money put aside, but determined to expensive to match, and then used that money to extended Darnold. They could of just pushed it down the road but didn't, so I believe the cap did force that hard decision.

Is Joe Brady on the staff in case Ken Dorsey flubs it?

Was Ken Dorsey on the staff in case DaBoll screwed up? -
I though he meant McKenzie

The running game which includes OL, and RB. We are better on paper but I got to see it with pads on CB, but same situation as above. Tre in pads during preseason looking sharp and Khalil Shakir showing he can handle the load. Got to see it to feel better about it MLB, I'm not as down on Edmunds as some here are, but with a greatly improved DL pass rush he should be capable of making some game changing plays

I would say ideas in this nature but with a football twist also musical stools? I hope you meant chairs cause I don't think stools is appealing. Players poopin to music came to mind when I read it.

Cancel the game, go with skills competition. The trick is creating fun and interesting skill challenges that bring fun an entertainment. More than 40 yd dashes and QB arm strength/ accuracy. Those are good but if your gonna replace game they got to find a hook. Something unique, something that brings laughs and wow moments together.

another thing to remember here is GB has a long line of people wanting to score a Season ticket. For someone to buy Season Tickets for the sole purpose of making profit is essentially robbing that/those tickets from someone waiting of the list.

They are well covered here https://www.packers.com/tickets/season-ticket-holder-policies

Love it.... That keeps people from picking up tickets for the sole purpose of scalping. It was a pattern for years, so its not a few games a season. I don't think any legitimate fan buying ST's and only going to 4-6 games a year has anything to worry about

Mr. Beane doesn't agree with the OP, neither does the Bills mafia
-
Winning teams will always have cap concerns. We could return to the days where we had oodles of cap space, but it comes at a cost none of us are willing to pay. Beane's plan marches out a few years IMO. Yes we will have decisions to make, but I am not worried. Beane =Gandalf the White when comes to salary cap.

Insights into McDermott team-building philosophy
ddaryl replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
You can hear it from the players themselves when they are interviewed. They are a very tight knit group. You hear it from ex-players who try to come back. Winning has a lot to do with it, and winning requires talent, but to get the talent to next level requires more than X's and O's, it requires a team. A team can be a mere technical term, a group of people joining together to achieve a common goal. Team can also mean family, and like most of us we would go to battle a little harder for our family. By all this I mean, being close with your teammates and willing to work harder because you don't want to let your family down. Looking at the Sabres this year you can see that happening. It took some really hard decisions but we "technically" traded away a few of our best players, yet this year the Sabres won 32 games, most since 2018, when they won 33. Its not Earth Shattering, but most of those 32 wins happened during the 2nd half of the season and many of them against real good playoff competition. There has been a huge dynamic change in the Sabres mental state and desire to win. They are a team with that extra drive, A team that is becoming a family IMO. The Bills are riding that wave. That was the culture change needed. -
Would of been nice to bring in a quality vet CB on the cheap but it seems Bradberry wanted to get paid more than play for a ring. Lot of offseason to go before we start thinking dumpster diving. We might be jut fine, but I too wouldn't mind a solid vet CB signing.
-
Expect.. NO! But thought there was a chance at a 1 year lesser deal to play for us. I honestly do not see how drafting Elam changes that. If anything Tre might not return to full form this season, AND you can never have enough quality CBs IMO. Or maybe Beane and Company don't think high enough about him.....

I believe Cleveland Browns Franchise is feeling plenty of heat for the entire fiasco. My heart goes out to the fans. Many are livid with anger about this mess. The press has been roasting the Browns management, and if I understand it correctly many owners/players are also not real happy with the Browns.

Baker is a professional athlete, former #1 overall pick. He wants a Large payday and a chance to start for a franchise that has a decent roster where he can make it to the playoffs. No teams are willing to trade for him right now, and not many have the salary cap to absorb him for 2022. I don't see many teams wiling to offer Baker a long term extension to bring down the cap hit for 2022 until he proves himself again. The only teams that can afford Baker's cap hit today is Cleveland Carolina and Miami without making some salary cap moves.... That is not happening and that is what Baker really wants... He is on a 5th year option and not many teams want to trade away draft picks for the possible 1 year QB. If Cleveland wants to take the Cap Hit and allow a lesser QB to take the reins then Baker can sign a prove me contract with another team, but again NOBODY is going to offer Baker Mayfield a contract on par with the top QB's in this league this year. Baker will make millions yes, but top QB's make $20 million plus a year... Baker is not making that until he proves himself outside Cleveland or proves himself this year in Cleveland. If he gets the nod in Cleveland, because Watson is suspended and Cleveland's hands are tied, he has a chance at a big payday next season when he is a FA. If he gets released or traded this year he still has to prove himself before any long term dal is offered.
