The Bills salary cap situation is keeping us from making a lot of these deals. Not only are we tight this year, but we are even tighter next year. We are as of now -7.55 million against the 2023 salary cap and only 38 players counting towards that. That number will change but it still will have to be dealt with. So as much as everyone fantasizes about trades at the deadline and I know some people believe the salary cap is "Just a Number" It still has to be dealt with and we do not have much wiggle room.

If he continues to improve on his oportunities than I can see the position shifting to him being starting slot. I will say, he got out of the gate slowly this season but he is a rookie, I noticed yesterday when running back a punt (maybe a kick) return he looked a little loose holding the ball extended away from his body while running. Then there was the easy catch that he dropped, SO he still has some thing to improve upon... But like I said, it will come down to how he handles his opporunities moving forward. If he continues to improve, limit mistakes, he plays more snaps

As a whole the defense is playing better more consistent football than the offense. Right now Allen is the offense. OL is worrisome, running game is inconsistent, and WR position is hit with injuries and some inconsistencies itself. Hopefully the 2nd half of the Ravens game represents some righting of the ship

Our DL is the wildcard here. We get pressure on Tua consistently then it won't be a shootout but I also understand what could happen if we do not
