  1. We drafted a WR in the later part of the draft for 3 consecutive seasons... That's not the answer, we need a bonafide WR on a cost controlled contract, that can be better than Gabe Davis and in 4 or 5 years possibly surplant Diggs. It sure seems to be trending that way.... I like many others don't understand the lack of real investment to the Offense. I understand bringing in camp bodies and competition but nobody we brought in this FA are viewed as difference makers IMO. Maybe they'll pick up some top O players in rounds #1 and #2...
  2. Until he's out for the season or suffers an injury where he comes back but is never the same. yes Allen is a threat to run, and that is aprt of his game... but his longevity will suffer if he continues to be reckless about it AND if he is always waiting for the downfield stuff to develop he will continue to take more unecessary hits shortening his career lifespan.... Give the guy a major investment in the OL and take the underneath stuff and focus a little more on ball control and moving the chains IMO
  3. Our OL has been offensive give him more time to work Also not sure if its Allen or O Scheme but we have to be able to take the underneath stuff more regularly. This way he is not just waiting for the downfield stuff to develop and won't see protection break down as much so he won't have to run as much.
  4. pg154 1+5+4= 10 pg163 1+6+3= 10 OR IS IT pg172 1+7+2= 10 Maybe pg 181 1+8+1 = 10 pg 190 or bust 1+9+0= 10 the magic of 10s
  5. all ya have to do is click the last page and if something new is happening the conversation on the last page / quotes will tell you if you would even want to backtrack

  7. I don't see an issue with 1.) Dorsey getting a HC job... I don't think he is that good of an OC. Hopefully in year 2 he proves me wrong but even so I don't think his body of work suggests he is anywhere's close to be HC ready 2.) Why would 2 TE's be a problem for any OC... If you're a good coach you can scheme it. If you can't scheme 2 top TEs on the roster then you're just not a good enough coach
  8. My issue with Davis is the amout of targets compared to receptions..... Maybe thats because Allen goes long often and those %s will drop, but he barely crosses 50% which is unacceptable when you are trying to move the chains Looking at this chart Davis and Shakir were 50% and 52%... Davis was our #2 in targets. I dont think that is good enough, something has to improve here if these players are our future https://edraft.com/nfl/fantasy-football/tools/targets/?season=2022-2023&team=BUF compare to CIncinnatti, who doesn't have anyone below 60% target/rec till player #10 on their list https://edraft.com/nfl/fantasy-football/tools/targets/?season=2022-2023&team=CIN and KC https://edraft.com/nfl/fantasy-football/tools/targets/?season=2022-2023&team=KC KC has 2 players hitting 52% or lower in the top 6. But they have to get to 3rd most targeted player to hit that 52% and less targets I guess I want to see more consitency from our #2 WR, now that could be on Allen for forcing the ball downfield, or it could be our scheme which pushed the ball downfield to often and loweered our target/Rec % but any way you slice it we need more consistency from our O and less incompletes/INTs
  9. complete nonsense
  10. So what you are saying the Bills will make no effort to upgrade WR#2 and are willing to fall on the sword for Gabe "Inconsistent" Davis and possibly waste another year of Allen's career. They may be willing to let him compete in camp but I don't believe they will ignore what ALL of us saw from Gabe last year
  11. This team desperately needs upgrades at IOL/OT #2 WR, could use a 2nd TE just the same Without Allen our D won't save us so give the Offense some top tools should be priority
  12. last year .... Von Miller but its more of the "What have you done for me lately" mindset
  13. I've seen positive accolades from San Fran fans who were sorry to see him go too...
  14. much better than a lump of coal IMO.... I don't know about the rest of you, but that day you open up a pack of new underwear and put a pair on for the 1st time is kind of magical. I have even coined it as "New Underwear Day" as I skip through my day with a smile and nobody really knows the reason why
  15. 1st reaction Who? watches some tape.... intriguing Could be a real good under the radar signing, but only time will tell.
  16. many of us share those exact concerns
  17. I'm thinking Lamar in the end will be a classic example of why "a Bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush"
  18. I agree with the premise, the Cincinnatti game just was an inevitable outcome... Most everyone saw issues after the losses to both Miami and the Jets, and the way we struggled after that even in wins..... From late October on I was hoping we would make adjustments, but we kept seeing the same issues over and over again I'm worried about Dorsey and our OC and I don't know what to expect from the D side.. Will McDermott run the D with a little more agressiveness or are we still gonna play 10 yards off the ball on 3rd and 5
  19. Yeah I know, I was visiting my mother in Leesburg when Ian cut through the state.... We got tropical storm winds but that was it besides the rain
  20. more Floridians died in Hurricaine Ian than Buffalonians did in Winter storms to be honest I don't want to be in Florida during Hurricaine season nor would I want to be there in the summer and I sure don't want to be in Buffalo in the winter
  21. you might have gotten a little carried away with the word perfect here.
  22. no surprises here. He has proven to have major concentration/consistency issues to be starting slot. Honestly I really thought he would have been here for at least camp, but hopefully the money saved by releasing him produces some FA fruit
  23. Looks like the Bengals championship window is closed
