  1. I do miss the 90s when 97 rock had a new song for every week. Not sure who recorded them but they were fun. One of my favorites was "goodbye Indianapolis Who could hang a name on you When you've gone and missed the playoffs We ain't going to miss you" There were bunch of them, wish I could remember them all
  2. I didn't read the article you are correct as I don't have a subscription Regardless, he reached out in March... Well that backs up my point.. He's a verteran no excuses. Get you ass in gear, get your head in the game and earn your million$$$
  3. I'll have a better idea on how this team is going ot be around mid October. I have question marks for OL, DL, MLB, and for the OC and DC. I have questions about Gabe Davis, and our new WR's. Until we play against other teams how do we know???
  4. The issue with waiting till Voluntary Workouts to realize you need to lose weight, you are obviously not strength training nor are you getting cardio training in at a high enough level. Those calories would be made into muscle, and Cardio is always beneficial. Now that he is desperately trying to shed weight he doesn't have the benefit of the offseason to turn those calories into more lean muscle mass etc...
  5. I'll start buying into the Jets hype if they Beat us But if the Jets do beat us Monday night then I"ll begin to start questioning our team.
  6. how does a multi million $$$$ player, at a premiere postition, let themselves goto ***** in the offseason. Then Offseason workouts start and he relilzes he needs to change his diet and get his fat ass into gear. How do you not see and feel yourself getting fatter and slower and then decide to make panic adjustments you need to make after the fact??? I definitely do not view Dawkins as well as I use to.... The offseason routine is part of the job...
  7. Gabe's work ethic really has never been questioned, and that with him being a vet earns being a Captain
  8. Good to great HC's are hard to come by.. Just look at the Bills 2 decades of ineptness. Only a handful seem to rise to the top. Many of those prove they can't repeat their success but ride it to a few more jobs. just like finding a franchise QB, which goes hand in hand with HC success most of the time
  9. yes... I have concerns which can only be allieivated with watching them play and seeing how they perform against tough competition I'm also not pessimistic just the same.
  10. I'll make a determination after the 1st 5-6 games I really can't tell if this team is really better this year, but last year I thought we were more solid then we turned out to be. By mid October will know for sure... until then it's either the doom and gloomers or pom pom posters. I'm a wait and see guy. We are a good team either way, but are we a SB team??? Honestly cannot tell till I see how we a stack up against other teams.
  11. I certainly hope it is much sooner then that Hopefully he is all that and a bag of chips. Missed much of camp with injury. Probably getting back into football shape. Plus he will need some time with the playbook and making the calls
  12. You didn't expect an OL on waivers to actually have "Glowing Metrics", if they did why would they get cut? Every team in this league would love to have to have the problem of being forced to cut an OL with "Glowing Metrics". In fact if an OL was going to be cut with "Glowing Metrics" it would probably be an easy trade before cutdown day because 31 other teams can use this type of depth, or even as a starter.... as for the bargain basement comment see the above sentence.
  13. They have lost ground... You need your top rookies to make an impact and keep you from diving into the FA pool every year. Beane may good at cap gymastics, but the fact is we shouldn't need to do that much to make the cap work. That only happens when your drafting better impact players more consistently IMO.
  14. Do you not read ???????? "but that could change after final cutdowns"
  15. just look at what he was making the last 3 seasons I think he is the best option for depth right now, but that could change after final cutdowns...
  16. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/dallas-cowboys/jason-peters-1179/cash-earnings/ last time he made more than 2 million was in 2020 and that was because of a 3 mil siging bonus He made 1.8 mil last year including signing bonus
  17. the week after our bye week... KC
  18. True but he would be brought in as depth... and he's a proven vet that can probably absorb schemes quicker than most
  19. or he just wants to skip camp ( see Bruce Smith )
  20. he probably will be the best available as a depth pick up
  21. Bringing in Lance would just make a thruple of #3s on the roster
  22. He is just too raw, has pretty much no experience and at best you put him on the practice squad. San Fran really screwed the pooch trading up. for those who voted yes... WTF? Are you high!!!!!!!!! and by high I don't mean MJ cause MJ users wouldn't do it, its the glue sniffers
  23. that can wait till next offseason. I see no one on the team that must be extended now the holes we have are large and no team thinking they are competing for SB should or could have. MLB and OL
  24. OL, Run game support, Dorsey, Josh's pocket awareness Those 4 things need to be better this year if Josh is going to be able to keep those INTs down. Those are 4 things that need significant improvements if we have any chance of going to the SB
