I think the bottom line fact at this junction is these extensions are premature If by chance we goto the playoffs and implode or fail to show up... again... then I believe we need to move on My confidence in the McDerott and Beane is dwindling. Beane may be good at the salary cap, but the players he has signed and drafted are more misses than homeruns, and alot of Ho-Hum types... Maybe this year is different, but by chance if we see the same type of stuff as last season his extension is going to get ripped as more fans pile on If McD cannot fix our bend don't break D and eliminate playoff gafs, or having a team who looks unprepared for a stretch of the season and seeing it the playoffs then the extension is going to get ripped as more fans pile on I believe this season had to be let's see if they can fix their short comings then we'll talk extension but for some reason Pegula's thought they had to rush to get this done before we actually see the baby I guess I need examples of self-scout and course-correction...

Personally... I think Diggs has a legitimate gripe. He wasn't invited to the room and what we were trying to do against the Benfgals wasn't working. They gave Allen lots of input about stuff (Dorsey Hire for example) but nothing from a All Pro possible future HoF WR is a pass heavy offense I wish it was handled better but I can't be too upset with Diggs either at this junction

i've see it every year... I just don't spend much time entetaining the obssesive negativity here or at Sabrespace forums just certain personality types and they will not change, they are just wired differently

Thats a good gameplan for when you have a dependable #1b I would be a bit upset with leadership as well..... but really wish Diggs and mgmt had a sit down in the offseason, but then again maybe some manufactured drama is the only way to get leaderships attention here

none of these are embarassing opinions... As fans we all hope for the best and let it play out. MOST Fans have the ability to see what the reality is after 1/2 a regular season and reshape their opinions from that point. Embarassing would be the people who never gave Josh Allen a chance to at least prove himself when drafted... I was fearful of JA when we drafted him, because very very few college QBs had any real succes in the league with compeltion %'s under 60%.... I did not get upset I did not proclaim Allen to be bust... I simply accepted he was our QB and hoped for the best.... Before we even got to the 1/2 way point of his 1st season I saw something that gave me hope and from there it became more and more obvious he was worthy.... BUT I would never recall my initial feelings about Allen embarassing... And I am never married to my initial opinions... got to let things play out

I do understand what you are trying to say.. with the conspiracy theories and hyperbole But I also understand that this is not just 1 veteran missing 1 practice... There is an underlying story and most of are damn curious to know what that story is

If Diggs wants a seat at the Offensive table and wants some input in regards to X's and O's and coaching changes then the Bills kind of screwed the pooch here by putting him on the outside looking in. Diggs is a captain, and a top experienced player for us. He deserves to be able to have some input.... I would understand Diggs being upset, but this also should have been addressed from January through today, It should not of been an issue and that's on Diggs for not speaking up sooner and letting it fester. This could of been resolved sooner, minus more drama.

I think the fallings of last years offense is a multi headed Hydra Rookie OC didn't have adjustments ready to go Josh didn't see open receivers plenty of times and tried to thread the long ball too often OL was horribly inconsistent FA and drafted rookies receivers/RBs had very little impact

If we don't go far in the playoffs, and have another implosion instead... Then yes
