I tried NFL + last year for the Thursday night game & I thought it was ridiculous to have to watch a game on a phone. Unless they expanded the electronics that can be used for NFL +, the product is garbage. NFL + is not meant for old guys like me.

Nope. Here's an example: Jim Haslett Haslett became the St. Louis Rams' defensive coordinator to start the 2006 season. On September 29, 2008 Haslett was named the interim head coach of the Rams after Scott Linehan was fired. The Rams gave Haslett an interim coach's contract, containing a clause that promised him the permanent head coach's job if the team won at least six games that season. Within a few weeks, this clause was nullified by the NFL, because it violated the league's "Rooney Rule".

No. The whole reason for the interim tag is because you cannot hire a permanent head coach, coordinator, or GM who is not a minority, in season.

The difference is they didn't have an interim coach who had done a great job before they interviewed Tomlin (Who is a HOF coach and was obviously the right choice). The job was open and so were the minds of the Rooneys.

Right now Joe Brady is earning the permanent OC job, but according to NFL rules the Bills have to interview for the OC job and they must interview minorities. If Brady's offense continues to win, then every interview is a sham since Brady will be a lock for the job. Unless the goal of the interviewee is to get the QB coach job, why would anyone interview for a job someone else is a lock to get? This part of the enhanced Rooney Rule is a total joke. They might as well ask Les Frazier to interview for the OC job as a favor to the team.

Games like yesterday's are among the reasons I hate QB stats. They can be so misleading. You have to watch the games to understand a QB's performance. QB stats are so bad, that if you look at completion % and QB rating, Rob Johnson was a better Bills QB than Jim Kelly. I rest my case.

Keep this in mind the next time you want to replace McDermott with an assistant coach who has never been a head coach, or a former Super Bowl winning head coach: The ONLY successful assistant hired as Bills head coach is McDermott. All other 1st time coaches have failed the Bills. No coach has ever won the Super Bowl with more than 1 team.

Unless you live in Buffalo or LA, where the game will be televised locally, I doubt too many bars have a Peacock subscription. There is nothing below premium. The days of free Peacock content are long gone.

Fields isn't getting praised anymore. Some clowns overrated him in preseason & have completely shut their mouths because the Bears are who the rest of us thought they were. How many mock drafts can you find that have the Bears not selecting a QB to replace Fields? Virtually none! Comparing Cousins to anyone a lot better or a lot worse is ridiculous. He's a paper tiger. His on-field performance does not match his stats, as do many NFL QBs because QB stats are trash.

To put Cousins & Allen in the same sentence is ridiculous. Allen is a great player on the field while Cousins is only good on paper-watch him fold up against good teams some day & put away your stats. The only inconvenient truth is your own bias Patrickkk.
