At the casino in Schenectady they have kiosks where you can bet without a teller. If I wanted to bet a large amount I'd bet it separately at the kiosk. One thing they do is the teller is only authorized to cash less than $1,000 so I'd break the bets into smaller amounts. I don't know if they have some system on the kiosks that would stop someone putting a big bet in at a few kiosks broken down into $500 increments. I was able to put the $1,400 in bets at the kiosks, but if I wanted to do it at the window with a teller they wanted me to apply for a rewards card.

I bet $1,400 on various combos of Bills wins the week the season started before any games were played. The photo of the tickets is too big (# of MB) to paste here. My bets were: > 6.5 wins (-200) $400 bet return $600 > 7.5 wins (+100) $400 bet return $800 > 8.5 wins (+200) $400 bet return $1,200 Make playoffs (+325)$200 bet return $850 If the Bills win 9 or more games & make the playoffs I win $2,050 on my $1,400 bet for a return of $3,450. I break even at 8-8, win $1,200 on their 9th win & hit it all if they make the playoffs. My tickets say 1/22/20 6:30 PM, so I guess I can't cash them until then, but I'll check with the casino before then to be sure.

The same people who only look at stats and don't watch the games will blame Mayfield. The same ones who blamed Josh for the 1st INT vs the Jets. Stat boys gonna stat. -

A steal to get anything higher than an 8th. -

If Josh started a game playing like Mayfield is playing tonight, the (dwindling) anti-Allen crowd would be calling for Barkley and trying to figure out how to draft a QB in the next draft. -
Bills' Super Bowl odds leap following 4-1 start

I didn't go past the playoffs but I got the playoffs at +325, over 6.5 wins at -200, over 7.5 wins at +100, and over 8.5 at +200. My break even point is 8-8, profits start at 9-7. I'm feeling pretty confident of cashing them all with the current record at 4-1 with 2 Miami games & Washington still on the schedule. -
Easiest prediction in sports: Redskins interim coach names Dwayne Haskins starting QB.

Revisiting Beane's most subtly brilliant move as GM
Albany,n.y. replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Buddy Nix did the same thing except he slept at the games and the stadium clean-up crews had to wake him up & tell him to leave. Whaley tried the same thing, but would end up staying in the hotel room watching the porn channel instead of going to the game. -

I went to the Giants game yesterday. When Minnesota scored in the 4th quarter the stadium broke out into a "Let's Go Yankees" chant. -

I noticed your post after I posted mine. It looks like we both thought the same thing at the same time & I type very slowly, so you beat me to the board. -

Trading a 7th for a former 1st rounder was a shot worth taking even with the unfortunate cap hit. Amazing thing is a 7th usually is a throw out pick with less than a 10% hit rate & Beane looks like he hit a homerun with Darryl Johnson and then came back up to bat and got at least a base hit with Tommy Sweeney. -

I know some will hate hearing this, but that's how the Patriots dynasty was built. Get a franchise QB and build around him. Beane has followed that philosophy, making sure he targeted the QB a year before he had the money to follow the Patriots model. Meanwhile, the Jets decided to follow the Washington model instead of the New England one. -

The last time the Bills got a player for a player that appeared to be each team dumping a guy neither team wanted and it worked out was the Jerry Hughes trade. It was about the only significant thing that the Nix/Whaley team did right with long term success. -

Jets fans do not live in reality.

Too bad nobody went there to say "I'd be worried about Allen if I was a Jets fan". Allen vs Darnold reminds me of the 1980s. Marino never got back to the Super Bowl once Jim Kelly arrived in Buffalo. I used to demonstrate that by saying "Jim Kelly would slam the door shut on Marino's Super Bowl hopes every year." Then I would pound my palm on a desk to make a slamming sound. -

I was at the Minnesota @ Giants game & from time to time I would turn on the Redzone channel on my phone. It seemed like every time they went to the Bills game, Santos was missing a kick. At one point I thought they were replaying a prior miss. I saw the Duke TD on my phone and started cheering wildly in the stands of Met-Life while the Giants were getting their butts kicked & yelled out "Duke freaking Williams" several times. I came close to not saying freaking, but I was able to maintain my self control. My friend who is Giants fan who I went to the game with tried to calm me down to no avail. -
