  1. That's a good point. McD seems much more driven by philosophical notion than simply doing what it takes to win. That's this whole process mantra, like you can boil human behavior and performance down to a few metrics, focus on those, and through the magic of complimentary football you somehow overcome all other obstacles. That's a long way of saying that we've seen McD's peak, and it is behind us. We're going to waste a generational talent on a set of theories that have already proven to be inadequate in the NFL to take the next step. Worse even than that is that we now have a team that's boring to watch, and every single one of us knew that when we flubbed the turnover and only got 3 points that the Bills were going to lose the game. In fact if I didnt have guests at my house for the game I would have gone outside at the half and enjoyed the day. We spend the rest of the year waiting for these games then the product on the field is amateurish, predictable, and boring. I don't know who needs to get benched or fired but we're staring down the barrel of a sub .500 season right now, with zero historical indication that McD has the ability to change course.
  2. True but the Bills appear to be in collapse now. Bradys play calling is child like in is simplicity, and the Jets have a strong D. They're just going to pin their ears back and come at Josh every play. Run run pass punt repeat for 4 quarters but hey it's complimentary football and that's what really matters
  3. It feels like we're about to re-enter the era where the punter is on the cover of the media guide
  4. Better this year than several more years of good not great
  5. Garbage tier receivers but also Allen seems pretty checked out. He's being coached to do something cant/won't do
  6. Allen has covered up a lot of ills on this team, but I think the talent level on O has dropped below a threshold now so Allen cant/won't do superman anymore. He's obviously miserable and if I were him I'd take a couple weeks off to make sure he didn't scramble his brain. Maybe watching the team lose 5 or 6 games in a row will get ownership involved.
  7. Not only is this O ineffective, it's boring to watch. How do we have the best qb we've had in 30 years and we're play Jauronball I honestly hate it. It's rather see them crash and burn the rest of the season so maybe we could get a coach versed in modern NFL football and maybe a GM that would stop the too clever by half drafts.
  8. 5 - I can stop arranging my Sundays around football. I missed out on golfing today bc of this sht show. For the posters who said 9-8 this season, hats off to you, at this point that's either accurate or aspiration depending on how hard they collapse next week. Bills are in full collapse right now. The Jets aren't any good but if rogers plays a C+ game they win easily. I hate betting against the Bills but this feels like free money
  9. Next up the resurrection of Aaron Rogers
  10. Coach mcdurr decided that was the right set of plays to call soo
  11. Just awful. Completely unmotivated and undisciplined. This game is done might as well put second team in, that would be less embarrassing than this
  12. Not sure if anyone has said this yet but pretty clearly the Jags game was our 2024 superbowl. I'm just glad our boys won that game so now we can rest easy until the draft
  13. Tbf the Bills are mailing it in again. That's on coaching but all we get are platitudes
  14. Very aggravated at the playcalling. Run for 7 on first, then run again for -1. That is like the bad old days and better not carry over to the rest of the season
  15. Bills look preseason here
  16. I took one of my clients out to lunch in Annapolis a couple months back and he wouldnt shut up about crab cakes. Like caused me to have several beers to try to pretend i was somewhere else
  17. Dont you remember we were the offseason champs? good times man
  18. yeah there's always a couple plays every game where he absolutely mauls his man. Like manhandles him like a child. We finally have the bully that rex ryan was building 10 years ago!
  19. I think in terms of overall philosophy on both sides of the ball, this the best plan and the best match between plan and personnel that we've had in modern memory. I'm just loving how they spread the ball around on O, because there's always going to be someone covered by a LB in a bad mismatch. On D, I love that we have a D line that gets pressure consistently without a blitz and I dont pretend to know enough about the Xs and Os to understand but whatever the scheme is in the secondary is doing a great job of taking WRs and anything deep out of the game entirely
  20. he's failed to win over the glazing contingent of Cris Collinsworth and Nick Wright
  21. Yeah seriously wtf that is actively pissing me off
  22. I'm a slightly tan middle age guy of otherwise northern european extraction and I get pulled over probably half the time at TSA. I travel a lot for business, and know the TSA people at a few of the airports "oh, you again" I assume it's my rugged good looks and charming personality that keeps them coming back for more
  23. lmao you notice who is in the loser quadrant
  24. dude played super hard yesterday, always does. You have to wonder if the law of averages is going to catch up with KC at some point here
