I think back to the Glory Era when House Ballard was a rookie. There was a play where he absolutely turnstyled and got Kelly crushed (Hugh Douglas on the Jets maybe? I may be mixing memories). Kelly got up ran over to Ballard, grabbed him by the facemask, pulled him in and read him the riot act. That was establishing accountibility, and Ballard went on to be great. What Im saying is I'd love to see Allen do that to Spencer Brown

We'll probably lose but it'll be a moral victory because we'll use both hands and a toe to make sure we only have 11 men on the field at the end

if our D was only bend-dont-break, it's been bend then break, at the worst possible times -
Do you think the Bills brass and coaches read this forum ??

Remember years back one of our LB's mom posted here? John Holocek maybe? -
Eh, I love your enthusiasm but im not sure it's realistic for the Bills O to score 24 points, especially against the Jets D, who certainly watched the Denver game and know that we have a butterfingers RB and a QB who ignores and or can't read coverage. Jets D is legit good, and CJ Mosley has always been a nightmare for Allen. I be thrilled if the Bills can put together one solid scoring drive each half, that end in TDs not FGs. Let's remember how to crawl again before we have an absurd target like 24 points Also, I'd like to see the D make a stop when it counts. I dont want to be too hard on them but this has been a defining issue for them for a few years now could, but I think you'll find that it wont

Yeah ok you got me on a technicality. They have a non-zero chance at the playoffs. I also have a non-zero chance of winning powerball The reason why people are clowning on this is because the Bills arent going on some miraculous winning streak. they aren't built that way, and the team leaders are all sulking instead of demanding accountability from each other and the organization. McD will clap his way through it, dont worry.

Does Anyone Miss Daboll and Frazier?
dorquemada replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seriously, I can't remember watching a NFL coach who was this terrible of a game day decision maker. Bad playcalling, bad clock management, incomprehensible use of timeouts on D? I thought he was supposed to be this disciplined genius but it looks like we got the low rent outsourced offshored non-union version instead -
Because it's an idea worthy of ridicule, and I mean that in the nicest possible way

In truth i'd be fine with a run heavy offense featuring Fournette. Allen is a space cadet right now, and Diggs is the only reliable WR. Kincaid, sure whatever, nobody is game planning around him, at least yet. When does Knox come back? Surely McD will insist he get reinserted at the expense of snaps for Kincaid so even that's not going anywhere The primary advantage of going run heavy the rest of this year since we're going to lose a bunch of games is that we see if the OL as currently constituted can support a run game. they looked oK in that regard last night. We know what Josh is capable of when his head is on right. Plus, a run heavy game at least gives the cursed souls on the defense a little break between back breaking 7-10 minute drives

gah this is so reminiscent of the drought years when we had to go to advanced calculus starting in late october to find a path to the playoffs. Let's go on and prepare ourselves mentally to be fully out of the playoff picture next week. Once they lose to the Jets, i'm sure they'll pull one out of their azzes against one of the good teams we have on the schedule, and maybe 1 or 2 more just to move us out of contention for a difference making WR in the draft but this is a bad team with a bad coach, an old, slow and broken D, special teams that define the word 'special', and a QB that needs some serious counseling

Will a win over the Jets to get to 6-5 bring everyone back in?!?!
dorquemada replied to DBilz2500's topic in The Stadium Wall
This will be a get well game for the Jets. your D will get a nice rest while the awesome jets O runs the ball down the bills throat and have 40 minute TOP Allen and the clown car go 3 and out 75% of drives How do you figure we beat the cowboys? Also, the Chargers are unpredictable. I said in another thread that the O/U for wins for remainder of the season should be set at 2 and I'd bet the under -
Because we've ignored the WR position and Davis had that one great game 3 years ago. McD is obviously a complete hack, I'm glad that Dorkey is gone, but let's hope Beane will at least consider drafting skill players this year. oh and someone to replace spencer brown

MCD is feeling the heat and knew damn well that the Bills had to play as close to mistake free football as possible. As it turns out, this is what 'as close to mistake free football' as the Keystone Kops Buffalo Bills are capable of playing. Queue up the yakety sax and let's watch the antics next week!

that goes for all our bosses -
as it turns out, his 1st fumble did set the tone for the game, and our QB picked up on it Cook is our best RB but what do you do as a coach when your team isn't responding to coaching?
