  1. The Rams and Bucs played the Lions a lot better than the mighty 49ers.
  2. That could still happen here, but the Lions might have built themselves enough of a cushion.
  3. I think he's great, but he'll lose his job to Brady next season. He's the Bledsoe of NFL announcers.
  4. I can't believe that this guy's name is Clete. Is it short for Cletus?
  5. There are a lot of teams where the HC calls the offensive plays and they mostly have someone with the title OC. A bunch of those guys have gone on to be head coaches. Off the top of my head, this list includes: Mike McDaniel Kevin O'Connell Brian Callahan In fact, before he got the Miami job, Mike McDaniel and I had called the same number of plays in the NFL.
  6. When the Bengals played the Rams, it was a 3 seed against a 4 seed.
  7. He can't "go off." He won't call the plays, and his weakness was playcalling.
  8. But as this week has proven, that can get you hired as a head coach.
  9. We now have our second dynasty of the cap era. The Salary cap was supposed to prevent this and it's not working.
  10. But according to Romo, it was "high-level quarterback play" when he threw that three-yard pass on second down.
  11. If the Ravens score here we might have a game.
  12. Or they could get married and Kelce could retire to go on tour as a backup dancer.
  13. Lamar "Russell Westbrook" Jackson Lamar "Austin Mathews" Jackson I could do this all day.
  14. He probably does on Ravens' forums. You should see what Bengals fans post online about Zac Taylor, a coach that Bills fans think is a young offensive genius.
  15. Teams have to learn how to win these big games. The Ravens are not rising to the occasion. The Chiefs, of course, always do.
  16. I see that we're not calling holding on KC again this week.
  17. The Chiefs are an entitled bunch. They feel like the league owns them something. You could see that in Mahomes response to the Toney Offside call.
  18. Im not going to pretend that I knew this without looking it up, but Caldwell runs a 3-4 defense. He’s a Todd Bowles disciple. It would be quite a change
  19. The amount of creedence that some of you guys give to the opinions of NFL talking heads is astounding. Why do you care where they put Josh in their endless ranking of QB? As for who I want to win the SB? The Lions are a good story, but I really like the way the SF plays. They're like the Dolphins with a defense. I know that people here don't like Lamar because he was drafted after Josh, but you have to admit that he is fun to watch. So pretty much anybody but the Fightin' Swelces.
