  1. "If you don't think this is the greatest song ever, I will fight you, that's no lie" Ron Burgundy.
  2. thanks Yeah, first thing that jumps at you.
  3. I don't know much about college football so I didn't put the round in which Elam could be drafted.
  4. Question for fans: Given that the deal is not yet finished, would you rather have Skelton or Kolb? Who is better for the WCO?
  5. If we draft a rookie early in the draft I don't see this as a recurrent thing. Two vets with considerable NFL starts and rookie battling out is not something we saw a lot in the past.
  6. The best QB of "next's" year class are not seniors therefore there isn't actually a better class next year.
  7. I like the signing in terms of what it represents rather than Kolb's abilities as a starter. This signing means that we won't be putting all the chips on a rookie QB and all the pressure that entails. It means that there will be a real battle for the starting position, be it a two way battle with TJax or a three way battle including a rookie. Last but not least, hopefully (there goes that word again) they're being pro-active towards the most important position in football and that they will not rest until they find a franchise QB.
  8. Tell him that he will be the rookie QB best friend this year. The offense will be a heavy dose of running with lots of PA to him and Stevie.
  9. I liked him for Gailey's offense, not so much for what I think Marrone and Hackett's offense will be.
  10. Obviously, why do you think Buddy kept calling back the Bucs GM? Every secretary was fired after the coaching change.
  11. Of course, just to piss you off.
  12. Highlights, I know, but impressive non the less. It would be interesting to see the lowlights, though.
  13. He should move to HB/TE/FB if he wants to prolong his NFL carreer.
  14. Could someone change the misleading thread title.
  15. He heard plenty when he was not franchise tagged and Byrd was. He's a very good LG but not elite and he won't get elite money from the Bills. I'm sure they (and we) want him back but not by paying more than the market indicates.
  16. Tavon Austin and Marquise Goodwin with unofficial 4.25 in the 40
  17. I would only be interested in DeVito and Pouha, if they're realeased, of course. Eric Smith and Landry are horrendous in coverage and both Pace and Scott are past their primes. I would understand, though, if Pettine tries to bring one of those four players.
  18. I don't know about Sheppard, at times he showed zero insctincts, which is troublesome for young LBs. Bradham, as rookie, showed more than him in two profesional years.. I wouldn't give up on Moats or White just yet.
  19. He should be cut, along with McGee and Spencer Johnson.
  20. Whitner having a rough game. Experience at the QB position is taking over the game. Bowman and Willis, non factor so far, not to mention Brooks stupid offsides penalty (first Raven TD)
  21. Kellen Heard is with the Colts http://www.colts.com/team/roster/Kellen-Heard/61bf67c0-eac5-4f4e-a983-276b1b9a8cd2
  22. Did the media show up? I watched the vids on BB.com. and the only person interviewing the coaches was Chris Brown. Were there press conferences by the OC and the DC or was only Marrone taking questions?
  23. Kelly's point is that there are a lot posts saying that Nix doesn't have a clue what to look for in a QB and we're doomed because he won't be able to select a good one this year. The snide comments about this are all over the board. What we know is that Buddy liked Newton and would have drafted him if he was available at #3, other mentions about QBs were in terms of what he was looking for in a prospect (always with Gailey's offense mind) Strong enough arm, good mobility, good enough size for the position, ample college experience (# of starts) I'm sure those parameters are not changed. My take is that NIx had good communication with Gailey and they decided to keep drafting other positions because they agreed Fitz was good enough to put points on the board to win games. They chose a plan and that plan failed, it doesn't mean Nix doesn't know talent at the most important position in football. Can he fail, of course he can, but until he does not pull the trigger on one as the Bills GM, the posts claiming he doesn't have what it takes to select a good QB are wrong.
