  1. I was never impressed with the guy but I hope he does well with the Packers. Good luck Johnny.
  2. I disagree, I like Bradham and his energy but he left several plays on the field today. Time will tell with him but Moats was playing well up to his benching, IMO.
  3. Things I liked not mentioned on this thread: Kyle Williams destroying Darnell Dockett on Freddie's TD. He lined up as a FB and had a key block for the TD. SJ is money and Jones and Graham are becoming dependable targets if the ball is well thrown, Sometimes I feel our WRs take undeserved criticsm. Depth on the OL, we had three back-ups and they played well against a good front 7. Kyle Moore had a solid game. Clutch interceptions by Byrd. Carrington making a difference yet again on ST. What I didn't like: Wood's pickaboo before every shotgun snap, it tells the defense when it's a go every time. This can't happen with a pro center. Fitz, I didn't think it could happen but it has gotten worse. You can see the WR aren't happy with his misfires. Letting Fitzgerald one one one with Barnett on their TD. Can't happen.
  4. Jones is a long, tall player and he's always using his long arms to his advantage, he's always flapping his arms to find a weakness or a bad move by the LT to gain leverage. I believe for a rookie that is impressive, generally they all try to run past the LT and beat them with speed. Glenn needs to be patient and not overreact to Jones first move and battle back with his own long arms.
  5. The three amigos, endthread.........not
  6. Patrots offense looks different with all the snaps Brady is taking out from under center, the end of the Welker crossing route era in NE? It sure looks like a more traditional, vertical offense.
  7. I didn't like the call against Aaron Williams on Byrd's interception either, there was contact, but it was not incidental and the ball was badly thrown. If they called that one they should have flagged Sheldon Brown all afternoon everytime he covered Stevie,
  8. It seems this game should have never been close as it was at times. Now that the game is over and I can reflect on it, this Browns team looks exactly like the Bills coached by Jauron. guidelines to know your team has been jauroned: a) get in a hole early, while looking like you never gameplanned for the game b) wait for the other team to make mistakes and capitalize on it (fitz fumble) c) lots of 3 and outs d) somehow be within a score e) when the defense needs to step up, it gets ran over (Bills 10 play 68 yards eating 5 minutes and change on the clock) f) with 6 minutes left in the game and down two scores you punt g) your offense seems incapable of completing passes to catch up. h) the opposition kneeling down is the last play of the game. I know Jauron is not the Browns' coach but you can see the Jauron virus kicking in, in full effect. Browns fans, you have been jauroned, and for that I feel sorry for you. Good win, go Bills!
  9. I like him, he can play and that is not bad for a 3rd rounder. Jones had a good game also, that flag on him was offensive.
  10. "Make it look like an accident"
  11. Have a great birthday Mark, cheers.
  12. It was an unnecessary hit. Boss is big TE and he was not going to stand up quickly and sprint downfield, a simple touch on the shoulder and the play is dead. It reminded me of one of Rodney Harrison POS late hit (not saying Searcy is a bad guy or POS player)
  13. "I finally get to work with Salma"
  14. Maybe Sam Adams but he ran hot and cold unlike Kyle.
  15. Yeah, Pears was nasty today and Hairston put a lick on D. Johnson on one of Spiller runs today that was beautiful. Nastiness is a pre-requisite to play OL.
  16. He is a dominant player. The way he flattened poor #45 from the Chiefs was almost unfair..... almost.
  17. Excellent post R. Rich. I would like ot point out that the run defense was good enough to put Sanchez on 3rd and not so easy situations, it was the play of the secondary that failed miserably on defense. In 95% of Sanchez completions, his WR ran a free realease from the LOS resulting in a maddening but very effective pitch and catch for the Jets. Sanchez never had to scan the field for other options thus making him look like Joe friggin Montana. Very dissapointed in Wannestedtd and the defensive staff. I said to myself, wait a couple of day to get back to TBD and post, nothing positive will come out of it, but damn, I'm still pissed off about our lack of preparation from our coaches and the lack of fight in some of our players, someone tell them, these are the games that count.
  18. Awesome, though I heard the guy can't park for schitt
  19. Stop the run at al costs, Sanchez thrives on PA Cover the quick slant to Holmes Keep the Jets O on third and long situations Always know where Keller is. Our offense needs to be patient, run the ball even if it's not very effective, put Lee Smith on the field to block. Two scores could be enough to win this one.
  20. I think this is Gailey sending Moats a message about performance, yes, he won the job but now he has to keep it. One bad play (and that whiffed tackle was bad and resulted in a TD drive) and the next guy in line will take what's yours.
  21. We saw Gailey running a good amount of two TE sets with Chandler and Smith on the field this pre-season. I would not be suprised to see a more run oriented offense this year.
