To an extent Trump is doing that, trying to clean up the stench but the stench outnumbers him by A LOT. Trump unfortunately has so much baggage of his own and is so easily not liked that he's an easy target of the stench. In discussions with friends and family I've said that we really need just 5 people to make Washington work much better. You need a President and leaders of the House and Senate (majority and minority parties) to come together with some kind of common agenda and a determination to work together on some of the big important stuff. Most of the rest of the minions will fall in line if the leadership asks for that. Pipe dream I know.

Impeachment is the new "racism" and the new "unconstitutional". The left has cheapened these labels which used to carry some weight and now we can add impeachment to that list.

This game came down to Michel outrunning Singletary and Brady completing more balls. The Bills couldn't run it very well and Josh lacks consistent accuracy and needs to make decisions more quickly on some plays. Bills badly need a bigger stronger RB to compliment Singletary. Josh should continue to improve. That and they need a big receiver.

Bills probably win the game if Josh completes a few more relatively easy balls and is able to sustain mores drives. Bills gave Brady too many possessions. Josh is young so he can get better. He needs to if the Bills are to be a team that can play winning football in playoffs.

They'll have to votes in the house to move it to the Senate. I doubt there will be many defectors as the pressure of party outweighs significantly the pressure of constituency from which they are very insulated IMO. However, I've been wrong on political outcomes several times. They can't turn back. That's a far worse scenario politically than the narrative that Republicans in the Senate made a sham of a serious matter and have created a constitutional crisis and are threatening our national security. That plus the fact that Trump was impeached will become their ammo in 2020. It helps them control the media narrative and will provide some cover over what Barr and Durham are doing. Pelosi will tell her baby chicks in swing districts that this enhances their re-election hopes and will keep the dems in the majority in the House.

Yes very good defenses but the Bills' offense isn't very good. They desperately need a big effective back, a big receiver and for JA to continue to improve. All this is quite obvious and most certainly will be addressed for 2020. Until then it's been a good ride this year and a win this Saturday would be special.
