  2. Is this an old Obama thread? Narcissism?
  3. I hope so. That's a fitting outcome for many of them. And don't forget Diane Feinstein ?
  4. Liz Hurley with some 2nd amendment expression. Yum.
  5. Have you seen Pam Bondi's 30 minutes from earlier in the week? How do you watch that and not conclude that Joe/Hunter needs a close look? If you don't want/like corrupt pols, call balls and strikes on corruption regardless of the batter and the pitcher. Trump only has an interest in the Bidens because of what Joe did. If Joe doesn't land his son a high paying jopb on that board, none of this happens.
  6. Any issues with Trump U have been settled. Litigated and settled. How about the Bidens going through a similar process so we can get to a just outcome on that matter?
  7. Well when impeachment doesn't work out it's time to circle back to sex.
  8. I think Dershowitz gave a pretty fair explanation of motivation when he spoke about mixed motivations. That Trump is possibly motivated by both what's in the public interest (pursuing politicians that use their office to enrich themselves or their families) and for reasons of personal gain (Biden being a possible competitor). The house certainly hasn't proved their case that it was only for personal gain. The house managers are also going out of their way to dismiss any relevance of the Bidens even with the evidence of their guilt right in front of their noses (and our noses). The house managers are simply wrong on both of these. Trump easily has public interest motivation into investigating the bidens and the Bidens have easily provided ample evidence that it should be pursued, all in the interest of saying no more bull#### like this to Ukraine with other people's money.
  9. I know longer think Collins is a buffoon but rather an attention *****.
  10. Nancy, this will go down as the dumbest political play maybe ever in this country. For you to have not anticipated the outcome about to be rubbed in your nose is stunning.
  11. Is it me or does Justice Roberts seem very unimpressive during the impeachment? His role is very administrative so it's not a great chance to show off his work but from what I've seen he's a bit of a namby pamby.
  12. Yeah, have seen it. Wonder about its authenticity.
  13. That's harsh cuz Hillary's charisma is that of a house fly.
  14. Well in fairness the left is lathered up about what Bolton and Trump talked about away from the call. For me though it doesn't matter as Trump had every justification to ask for investigations. Too much evidence surrounding Bidens and others to ignore.
  15. Joe didn't just get his kid a job. He exerted his will and the will of our country on another nation for the benefit of his son and his son's employer. That's breaking the law.
  16. Of course it was. What's really amazing is how brazen Joe Biden was in all of this. It shows how protected the ruling class feels it is. Joe's always had somewhat of a "he's a good guy" public persona. This Ukraine deal plus some other suspicious deals involving family really say otherwise.
  17. For ***** sake John, get to the gym.
  18. I've never taken a law class and was able to follow it just fine.
  19. I suspect Trump's management style has something to do with people being angry going out the door. It was a bad hire the day it happened.
  20. Good to hear because at some point we have to hold politicians accountable for using their influence to enrich their families. We also have to hold aid recipients accountable for using aid funds for their intended purposes only.
  21. Objection, relevance. I thought this was an under appreciated segment after listening to the pundits afterward who didn't give it much credence. His were the kind of arguments that get cases or meaningful aspects of cases nullified.
  22. It would only take 5 people to make a big difference in DC. A pres and leaders of both parties in house and senate to make the decision to all work together on the big stuff. Most of the rest would fall in line. It would take this to be true over several presidential terms though. Trump's a deal maker, a transactional guy. The Dems don't realize it but as the minority party they could really take advantage of that and have an actual record to run on.
  23. It's a shock that lending 10's of thousands of dollars to 18 year olds with little or no income or collateral would result in a high default rate. In any other circle than government, this would be called predatory lending. It's a program that needs to be ended. The old way where parents co-signed loans and loans were limited in value was more responsible. Since states run many of the colleges and universities, let them figure out how to make it more affordable for their residents. College expenses should be 100% tax deductible regardless of income (with some limits) and at the very most, the Fed gov IMO should block grant states and let them allocate the funds for grants, etc... and encourage private scholarship programs. It is still possible for people (who are determined) to work their way through college if living at home, using some online courses and taking modest loans in many states. It's tough but it can be done. As for the loans on the books, much of that was foolish lending with little or no chance it gets repaid. As much as I hate the idea, something will have to be done to clean it up or partially clean it up, but the debtors need to have some skin in the game.
  24. https://www.foxnews.com/media/cnn-analyst-complains-about-white-men-filling-trumps-legal-team It's muscle memory for the left now. The race card is always in their back pocket and they pull it our without breaking stride.
  25. So let's elect Joe to fix it since he has first hand knowledge of the problem making him the most qualified on the matter.
