I think the media is well aware that they are publishing shaky stories unsupported by much fact. The majority of media are absolutely in an ongoing conspiracy to take down the right and now Trump. When you turn on network and cable news and flip from channel to channel on a breaking story and you hear almost word for word the same talking points, you know it's coordinated. The news industry has become incredibly lazy and driven by their ideological corporate opinion.
