  1. Yup and at 21 years old he cannot possibly improve any part of his game. He's already peaked. Can't believe the front office can't see what casual fans easily see.
  2. Wow, didn't realize there were so many experts with crystal balls out there. Now would be a good time to evaluate drafts from about 2014-2016.
  3. Let me say that the current tax code in my view is deeply flawed both before and after the recent changes. For me I think it should be much flatter which would eliminate favorable treatment. Just to use a number, if the corporate rate and top fed individual tax rate and small business tax rate were all the same at 21%, then we wouldn't have the finger pointing. That isn't necessarily the right number, just an example. Side note, there is actually a good case to be made to only tax consumption rather than labor and income. If I were king for a day, the tax code would get much flatter and each person or family would be treated as their own entity with deductions for health insurance and health care expenses and health savings accounts, retirement savings, education expenses mortgage interest (with a cap) and a first time home buyer incentive. I'd also pass a law that rates must rise or fall in unison, no special treatment for those at the bottom or top. I would propose raising medicare/SS rates because, well, this is what it really costs to run these programs and also propose cuts and let the people vote on that. I would eliminate federal Medicaid tax since we have state line health insurance restrictions and give those that have continually supported the state restrictions exactly what they deserve or demand that the state line protections be removed if Medicaid is to remain a federal program. At the same time I would tell every federal agency that is not part of an entitlement to submit a presentation justifying their existence with a cost benefit analysis and make deep cuts to low producing agencies. I would work to get the budget balanced inside of 10 years. Then, with taxation more fairly applied and budgets and entitlements in good fiscal shape, people can choose between politicians that want to make tax and budgetary changes that have more equal impact on all of us. Lastly and more related to the thread topic and what CK is preaching, I would encourage states to make jail sentences much harsher, much shorter and with a true rehab component and truly awful for repeat offenders.
  4. More crap. The new tax code was designed to provide businesses lower taxes yet the article is railing against businesses paying lower taxes. Duh. Using the real estate example provided in the article, people in that business are already operating those businesses as LLC's or S-corps. Those aren't loopholes, they're ordinary business filings. They are already there. The method of taxation pre and post the new tax bill hasn't changed. Only the rates have. Again the whole point of the tax breaks was to tax people and especially businesses of all kinds less. That's what this does. Taxes are real business expenses that prevent businesses and people from spending that money on other things. Less of that is better for business. If you are a person who thinks that it's OK for federal and state governments to collectively demand 40+ percent (some near 50%) of some people's income, then we can't even communicate.
  5. So you think the federal government and citizens can't find ways to do more at less expense? All are operating at the peak of efficiency and every tax dollar spent is done so in a very prudent fashion? No waste? Shirley you jest.
  6. Agree that the debt is a problem. Can we get the pols on your side to help pass massive spending cuts so we can keep America great?
  7. It's a crap article with crap arguments. It was the aim of the bill to reduce corporate taxes to make the US a more competitive place to do business. This is a good thing for companies and their workers. Mission accomplished. Top wage earners lost the their state tax deductions above $10K. That is a tax increase. The top bracket went from 39.6% to 37%, and both are ridiculous numbers. Nobody should be forced to give the federal government this much of their income. All brackets were reduced, including the top. Those that pay a hefty load of the taxes in this country also deserve cuts. Lastly, businesses especially small businesses are over taxed. Small business owners even pay taxes on income they don't take. You probably have no idea how that works but it's very true. Some states (like mine) charge additional taxes to small business owners and some states tax small business inventory. Small businesses should not pay more in taxes than large businesses and that has been the case in many instances in the past. Again, the new tax code is aiming to make it easier for business to be competitive here. Hit the target again.
  8. I don't think CK wants to play football. He simply wants the victim tag on himself to further his cause. Nobody that wants to get a job as the face of a sports franchise and a leader of men in an entertainment business would make this speech a week ago. How is it a giveaway for the rich? Do you have some numbers please?
  9. Not everyone. Trump, McConnell and Paul Ryan for all his screaming about debt are all sucking right now.
  10. That's because they make you turn right and exit before you can go left there so drivers are pissed off as soon as they back out of the driveway. Those are ADL jam cars. The Anti Destination League.
  11. I'm for the federal government proving that it can live within its means for a period of years before any additional underfunded programs are unveiled. That and these programs have no limits. Once the pols realize that 25% of the available and unemployed workforce doesn't want to work, we'll have to have separate benefits for them.
  12. Let me guess... Eric Holder has given them guidance on this with Obama somewhere in the dark shadows.
  13. No I think the suit is a good play for the Dems. It's ridiculous but it furthers their narrative and status as the victim partry, extends the issue and gives them more time (past the election) before they have to finally admit they have lousy candidates and policy positions.
  14. Which is a perfect fit since they preach victimhood. You have to admit though that the suit is a nice play with the whole Russia collusion Mueller investigation losing steam. Keeps the media in the game and the news cycle can continue.
  15. It is premature. I'll predict now though that if he stays healthy for the season, most Bills fans will think AJ was/is an upgrade over Tyrod.
  16. Yeah have to agree on that. He's been playing it politically dirty since he ran for his first Illinois state seat and probably in other walks of life before that.
  17. Hannity has had Sara Carter on his show several times over the past year and she is turning out to be one of the few that have had a good handle on the real Russia and IC stuff. She's looking like a champ and has been a good reason to tune in from time to time.
  18. I'm starting to think that a leftist media that keeps people like you amused is not a bad thing.
  19. Be careful, this S.O.B. could win.
  20. 2020 she wins while running her campaign from a wheelchair, first such winner since FDR.
  21. I get it, but I always buy something. Even a bottle of water which of course leads to another stop and more water which makes me an idiot of sorts .
  22. If those people are innocent of crimes they should have nothing to worry about, correct?
  23. Agree. I NEVER use a public restroom without buying something at that establishment. NEVER.
  24. No he said very angrily that he was gonna deflate her footballs.
