  1. I wonder if he took time off when his kid was getting his mysterious broken arm fixed?
  2. Well that was short lived. I guess I jumped the gun and assumed I was all set. Submitted my payment and got the pre approval on the NJ MVC website. NJ found a reason to deny the plates. Really disappointed! Requested Plate Number: G0BILLS Reason for Denial: We are unable to substitute the Number 0 for the Letter O and therefore cannot process your transaction.
  3. I know most people picture the opening scene from the Sopranos when they think of NJ. The refineries and expressways. I did too. But there are some really nice parts mixed in. If you are passing through on the main expressways, or looking out the airport windows, you are probably seeing the worst of it.
  4. I’m the VP of the North Jersey Bills Backers. We get together with the other NYC area backer groups and take over a section of the parking lot for the Bills vs Jets game. Lots of good food and drinks! We also watch all the other games at Duffy’s in Paterson. If you want to meet up with our group to tailgate or for any of the games, get in touch! We will have a group ticket purchase link for the Jets game.
  5. Just ordered this plate. Surprised it was available! Just had to use a zero instead of an O, so there is apparently a GOBILLS and soon to be a G0BILLS in NJ.
  6. The Glenn Iris Inn is right in the park and is very good. At least it was years ago when I was there. https://www.glenirisinn.com/dining/#menus
  7. Eric Moulds Eric Moulds Eric Moulds this offense would be insane with the addition of Moulds.
  8. Fitz is a great guy and had some exciting games, but I remember so many games where Buffalo had the ball, was driving, and we just knew he was going to throw the game ending interception. Most of the time this was probably due to his tenacity and desire to win, but he would throw up a pass that he just didn't have the arm to complete. It was like clockwork for a while. He was never going to accept losing without giving it 100% and that resulted in some crushing INTs. He was the anti-Tyrod when it came to laying it on the line and taking a risk to win a game or get the first down.
  9. It amazes me that there are some people out there that don't understand the differences between Tua's journey to the NFL and Allen's. Tua had the best coaching and teammates from high school through college. He had the best trainers, facilities, dieticians, etc. Allen came into the league with tons of untapped potential. Tua is tapped out and is likely as good as he is ever going to be.
  10. No. Not significant in any way. He is a very likable guy and a very mediocre player with a 20-33 record with the Bills.
  11. I really don't get the appeal of Brady as an analyst. I know I am biased, but the guy has the personality of a divot and he is just so smug and unlikable. I just can't see him being any good at it when he eventually retires.
  12. I have a sticker on my car, a shirt, and a blanket with the potato Buffalo logo. Love it!
  13. It’s not an “interesting argument”, it is a simple fact. Millions of gun owners would refuse to let the government disarm them and confiscate their legally purchased property. If you honestly think differently, I’m wasting time discussing this with you.
  14. I have no issue with magazine (it’s not a clip) capacity restrictions. I live in a state that already has that law. Although I doubt it has done anything to reduce gun violence.
  15. And when the vast majority of gun owners do not agree to turn over their guns to the government for pennies on the dollar?
  16. Pistols (other than revolvers) are semi automatic firearms. The post I responded to stated that they should be banned.
  17. How would you propose to get rid of the millions of semi automatic pistols that are currently owned by law abiding citizens? Citizens that have never commited a crime but are instantly felons for owning a pistol. Pistols that may be worth thousands of dollars each. Where will we house all of these felons when they are arrested? Better yet, who is going to go house to house confiscating the pistols? Do you have a plan for implementing your solution? I'm guessing you do since you feel it is not complicated. I support common sense restrictions, background checks, improving the national background check database, age requirements, etc. But your solution is impossible to implement and would cause countless additional deaths in order to actually remove the millions of handguns from citizens.
  18. Body armor covers specific parts of the body. You are still vulnerable if hit in certain areas. The majority of security guards and police are not expert marksman and would not consistently hit unprotected areas on an assailant. If you have ever fired a handgun, you know how difficult it is to be accurate especially in a stressful situation. I would assume the police in Texas hit the assailant in areas not protected by armor or they had a high powered rifle that penetrated the armor.
  19. Ed Norton - American History X Kevin Costner (I can't stand him in most stuff) - A Perfect World Jack Nicholson - The Shining Drew Barrymore - Firestarter David Spade - Joe Dirt
